This auction is for an old meat grinder. It has the markings Climax 51 Made in USA. It is all metal except for the wood handle. It appears to me to be in working shape. This is an old meat grinder or food chopper as it says. It is in really good condition. It has patents and places all over it so I photographed them so you can see. It does look to have just a little surface rust on the inside. But this is really sturdy and heavy! I think just needs a little oil. This weighs about 4 pounds! The crank turns easily. It is a NO. 51, Climax style Food chopper with a Fine/Extra Fine and 1 more Blade. There is a very nice wood handle too. This is in good condition, but it does need a really good cleaning. Climax 51 Food Grinder Chopper Vintage Food Meat Coffee Grinder 4 Blades
Vintage Cast Iron Climax 51 Food Grinder or Chopper. Comes with 4 blades. This grinder has seen a lot of use. It has a few rust spots but mostly just needs cleaned. One side of the wing nut that holds the blade in is broke off but it doesn't seem to effect how it holds the blade in. Side of the handle is stamped L.F. C. New Brittain. Conn. USA. The other side of the handle says made in USA. Wood handle has a nice patina from years of use. Please use the pictures as part of the description and judge for yourself.
