Vintage Silver Plated Creamer and Sugar Dish With Lid Silver On Copper - Serving
This is a silver plated creamer and sugar bowl- silver on copper. A very nice heavy set. We believe the symbol of a script S is for American Sheffield. Stamped in metal on bottom is a crown an S in script and one other we can't make out as well as it reads silver on copper. Both pieces are in very good vintage condition with some age and use wear. We did not try to polish them so they each display some varnishing and discoloration. They feature a rope like band design with vines on handles. They are being sold as is as seen in pictures. antique ornate s.p.c. silver plate over copper wood sugar creamer tea pot set
This is a stunningly large ornate set of antique late 19th century sterling over copper sugar and creamer. they have an abundance of very intricate floral detailing done in very high relief. the detailing is all hand done. Hammered, and engraved. if you look closely it is much more detailed and is quite eye-catching. the pot has a hand carved wooden handle and wooden finial they are held with silver mounts. the pieces are nicely footed with 4 ball feet and both signed on the bottom by maker"S.P.C. with maker mark the top opens and closes on a hinge by the wooden handle and has a great spout on the opposite side. the sugar bowl has a dual stylized handle and ribbed trim at the top. they are in nice shape with a shiny silver finish. they both have copper shining through at some raised spots but gives it a wonderful look. the pot measures ... more10 1/4 inches long by 6 1/2 inches tall and the sugar bowl measures 7 inches long by 4 1/2 inches tall. the wooden handle has two hailing cracks that are very hard to see. It's hard to find this set with the waste bowl which was used for spoons, or other'waste' associated with serving tea or coffee such as used lemons, etc. All pieces are marked Sheridan and are in excellent condition with no dents or flaking of silverplate. Vintage? N S Co. clam shell design sugar bowl and creamer set. I don't know how old these are. Unpacked weight is about 1 pound 4 ounces. Creamer is approximately 4" high- tabletop to rim and the sugar bowl is approximately 3 1/2" high. Bottoms are marked- N. S. Co. silver on copper. Very pretty clam shell design on the sides and die cut top rim. There are no cracks or dents on these but there is some wear to the inside bottoms. The handle on the creamer is missing some of the silver finish as is one handle on the creamer. These need polished. Up for auction: F.B. Rogers Silver Co. 1883 Silver on Copper Coffee/Tea Pot#2311 with matching creamer pot and sugar bowl. F.B. Rogers Silver Co. is known for producing high-quality. Quadruple plate pieces. Marks: The Coffee/Tea Pot is marked on the bottom with the F.B. Rogers Silver Co. hallmark crown. Above the crown it says"Hall Mark. On the left side of the crown are the numbers"18. and on the right side"83. The numbers stand for the year"1883, the year the company was founded, and not necessarily the year this pot was manufactured. Underneath the crown and year mark, it says: F.B. Rogers Silver Co. Silver on Copper, 2311. The creamer and sugar have the same marks but no number designation. In my research I wasn't able to ascertain the years this mark was used by F.B. Rogers Silver Co. so I can't state for ... morecertain that this set is an antique(100 years or older, but I'm sure it is at least a vintage piece(20 years or older. Condition: All three pieces. Especially the sugar bowl, are tarnished and need polishing. I am leaving the polishing to someone who has more experience in polishing silver/silverplate. The pot has a dent in the bottom and some bumpy spots near where the spout attaches to the pot. All three pieces have some surface scratches. The creamer does not have a lid. Please zoom in on the photos as I consider these part of my description and the best way to tell their condition. Measurements: The pot is 8" tall from the base to the top of the finial. The pot opening is about 3 3/4" wide. From the tip of the spout to the end of the handle is about 9" wide. The creamer and sugar are about 2 3/8" tall. VICTORIAN CHASED SHERATON SILVER SYRUP/CREAMER SUGAR on copper
These are great pieces that make more sense in Victorian than at the new beach house. I've just repolished. And they still looking great after what I guess is more than 100 years. While on the bottom is says"Chased by Sheraton. one could describe the rose pattern as repousse. The legs are lovely as well. The sugar bowl is 7-1/4" to the tip of the finial and a hefty 1 pound 7 ounces. The creamers is 6-1/2" to the tip of the handle and weighs 1 pound. 1 ounce. No dents and no exterior pitting.

Vintage F B ROGERS Silverplate Creamer, Open Sugar & Etched Tray - Silver/Copper
Vintage F.B. Rogers- Silverplated Creamer. Open Sugar Bowl and Etched Tray- Silver on Copper- Marked on Bottom- 1087. The pieces came from an estate sale auction so I do not know the history or age. They are in good vintage condition. They are quite tarnished so they need to be polished. There are some pitting type marks inside both the creamer and sugar. I do not see any major issues such as dents. The tray is about 10" x 5 3/8" The creamer is about 4 3/4" across the top(spout to end of handle) x 2 3/4" across the top rim(side to side) x 2 5/8" tall(spout to table) The sugar is about 5 1/4" across the top(handle to handle) x 2 3/4" side to side x 2 3/8" tall(top rim to table) NOTE: SHIPPING will be reduced if you live in a state close to Maryland. Gorgeous silverplated creamer and sugar bowl are of matching pattern with detailed swirling handles and feet and maker's marks are included on their undersides(please see photos) In good condition with no major scratches or dents. Estate sale finds, I do not know the age or anything else about thees items. I have not cleaned or polished them, you can so that if you wish. They do show signs of tarnish and oxidization, but that does not mar there beauty, but gives them more of a Shabby, antiqued' quality if you choose to display them as-is. Sugar bowl measures 7.5in tall, 7in wide from handle to handle, 4.5in deep on the inside, and feet are situated 3in apart. Creamer is 7in tall, 3in wide from foot to foot on the bottom, 5in deep on the inside, and 6in ... morewide from handle to spout. Please email me with any additional questions. These pieces are Silver on Copper. I have gently cleaned them. They are estate finds so they are not perfect. I do not see any cracks/dings. There are fine buffing marks noted and a small rust area on the bottom. The creamer measures 6" wide spout to handle. The sugar bowl is 5" handle to handle. Antique Sheridan Silver on Copper Matching Sugar Bowl and Creamer. Creamer measures 4" tall and has a 2 1/2" base. Lidded Sugar Bowl measures 5 1/2" tall and is 5 3/4" wide from handle to handle. It also has a 2 1/2" base. Both items are in beautiful condition. There is some staining on the inside of both items(see pics) Both items are marked with a crown. sign and shield in boxes on the bottom of each item with the words"Silver on Copper" This mark was used in the early 40s. It does not have the word"Sheridan" very early pieces.
