Antique collectible silver plated creamer from Knickerbocker Silver Co.
Antique Electroplated nickel silver creamer by Knickerbocker Silver Co. of Port Jervis. NY. Manufactured between 1900 and 1904. After 1904, Cresent Silver Co. took over Knickerbocker Silver Co. Was improperly cleaned and the finish is scratched. Could possibly buff out. Still tarnished with a very cool looking patina. Discolored from many years of improper storage and cleaning. Bottom of creamer is stamped with the Knickerbocker Silver Co. mark which is a man's head who looks like George Washington complete with hat and the letters KS(Knickerbocker Silver) EPNS(Electroplated Nickel Silver) with the serial or manufacturer number C503.

20th Century Modern Knickerbocker Silver Art Deco Sugar Creamer Sterling Plate?
Here's a cool. Art deco design silver creamer and sugar bowl for your table. Unfortunately, I can't tell if they are sterling or silverplate. There is no indication either way on the mark, so I imagine that they are plate, but our other piece from them shows it to be Sheffield and I don't see any sign of base metal underneath anywhere. They are decorated with bands of thin rings. The bottoms are marked with a Knickerbocker mark, a profile face and the letters KS Co. and the numbers 1916. It could be a date mark, which would put it in the arts& crafts movement, but it's probably a production number. The company was in business from 1894 to 1962. SILVER PLATE CREAMER BY KNICKERBOCKER SILVER CO- Port Jervis NY Knickerbocker was the successor to J.A. Babcock& Co. in 1894. It was taken over by Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co. Inc. in 1962. I am not sure of the exact age. But as a benchmark, it was part of my parents silver which they inherited from her parents, and could go all the way back to 1894, however it is probably more recent than that. In addition to the Knickerbocker stamp, there is a sequence of letter and numbers, C266 on the bottom. The C W etched on the bottom are my mom’s initials. The creamer or cup, is in nice condition, with little or no tarnish. It stands about 5 ¼” tall from the base to the top of the handle, the rim has a diameter of about 3 ½” it is 5 ¾” handle tip of the pouring lip, 4” to 4 ½” from base to rim depending on where it is measured, ... moreand the base has a 2 ¾”diameter. Description Welcome. Up for auction I have a cream& sugar set. Stamped on bottom KS co. knickerbocker? electro plate on nickel silver C3751. In great condition with no dents or wear to the plate that I could see. There is a nice floral design embossed around the top of each piece. I know there are two camps for polishing, I opted for the not polishing camp. I will leave that up to you if you want. Open sugar bowl stands about 3 1/2" tall, creamer about 4 1/2" Polished these woul add a great sparkle to any table, especially around the holidays.
