No monograms and silver plate that is shiny and bright, clear etching and clean and usable on the inside. The caddy is etched with flowers and birds in an Art Nouveau design from the 1870's when the style featured tall stately legs and high collared over sized details. c1870 VICTORIAN QUADRUPLE PLATE SIMPSON HALL MILLER MASK PATTERN CREAM PITCHER Search Up for auction is a Victorian tall cream pitcher by Simpson Hall and Miller in one of the"Mask Patterns" which were popular during the 1870's. The book American Silver Plate by Dorothy and Ivan Rainwater. In the chapter Development of Styles list many of the Mask Patterns including this pattern on page 107. She gives Webster Silver Company credit for the pattern pictured in 1872 but many makers often manufactured the same patterns.
