ACME SILVER CO ART NOUVEAU FOOTED SUGAR BOWL SPOON HOLDER w BLUE GLASS INSERT This is an offering of a beautiful art nouveau style silverplated-quad plated footed sugar bowl and spoon holder that is marked Acme Silver Co-Toronto. This holder comes with a lovely medium blue glass insert with vertical ribbed panels and polished pontil on base. The holder has an ornate pattern on the legs as well as the metal side panels and the ring around the top area where it also has areas to hold 6 spoons. This piece stands about 4 3/4" high with a diameter of 4 1/4" not including the handles which makes it 6 1/2" if handles are included. The glass insert is original to the piece and in good shape with just tiny specks of imperfection along the top near the creases of the panels. This was polished years before I owned it and there is still ... moresome polish residue on some areas which will come off if cleaned. It is a beautiful piece and in very good shape.
