International Silver Company Soldered Silver Hilton Hotel 6-C-115 5 oz. 3.25" tall 4.25" wide(including handle) The creamer has some marks on it that look like tiny dents. However, they seem to be uniform and may have been the original design. I have given this a light cleaning but the new owner will need to polish it thoroughly.

This is a silverplated/silver soldered piece. very heavy duty and well made, weighs about 18 ounces. It is an 8 ounce capacity. The bottom is stamped with the makers mark Reed& Barton, silver soldered 2800 and also says A Sheraton Hotel on it. It is in excellent used condition, just tarnished. Should clean up nicely. It measures approx. 4 1/2" tall and 3" in diameter. This is a fairly rare piece. Great for a collection or display, or as a unique gift. I am listing with no reserve price. During its lifetime, the hotel served many famous guests including Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Charlie Chaplin, Bette Davis, Lena Horne, Tallulah Bankhead, and Nat King Cole, and U.S. Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dwight D. Eisenhower. The hotel was known for hosting big bands such as those of Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Xavier Cugat, and Wayne King, which were also broadcast on the hotel's own radio station, a precursor to WGN with the call letters WEBH. On June 14, 1949, Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Eddie Waitkus was shot and nearly killed by an obsessive fan at the hotel, 19-year-old Ruth Steinhagen; this later would be a large part of the inspiration behind Bernard Malamud's novel The Natural. The 1951–54 extension of Lake Shore Drive from Foster Avenue to Hollywood Avenue cut the hotel off from the beach leading to a reduction in business. This 10 ounce sugar bowl is approximately 3 3/8 inches in diameter not including the handles and is 3 1/8 inches tall. It is very heavy. On the bottom it says IS International Silver Co.Silver Soldered 09C 10 oz and has a 48 inside of a box. The 48 stands for the year of manufacture. Silver Soldered pieces were made for restaurant and hotel use because of the wear and tear on silver plated items. This sugar bowl shows signs of wear due to age and use. This antique Statler Hotel creamer reads on the bottom: US. International Silver Co. Silver Soldered, Hotel Statler, 8-C-118, 8 oz. and in a square, the number 55. It is 4" tall; the top is a slight oval and the outside diameter of the longest side is about 2-1/2" It is heavy, weighing over 14 ounces. The rim is ridged and there are two plain bands on the handle. It is possible that this is silver. But much more likely silverplate. International Silver made primarily soldered silverplate hotel ware beginning in the 1800s. There is very heavy patina as you can see in the photos. A few small dots that look like paint spatters, a couple of fairly small dings and pitting which isn't too obvious now but will probably be more so if it is polished. This vintage silver soldered hinged creamer and sugar bowl is a set from the Hotel Statler engraved on bottom of Pieces. And with a lager monogrammed S on the creamer lid knob. The pieces are stMped with the block IS and engraved on the bottom with the words International Silver Company, silver soldered. By the research I have done, it appears to have a manufacture date of around 1950. It is very heavy and appears to be in very good used condition, With a couple of very small spots where the plating has worn through on the interior bottom of both pieces. The lid has a small hole that was manufactured. For venting. It is right under the knob, so you really don't notice it until the lid is up. Two vintage heavy commercial restaurant ware pieces. In nickel silver, silver soldered, open sugar and creamer. By D.W. Haber& Son. N.Y. made for The Center Club, which is a dining club in Baltimore. The open sugar is 5 7/8" wide from handle to handle. And stands 3 1/2" tall, smooth interior with a textured exterior, the bowl itself is 3 3/8" wide. The small pitcher/creamer. Has a smooth interior and exterior, and stands 3 3/8" tall X 3 7/8" wide from spout to handle. Both are in excellent condition. Though the open sugar rim has a barely detectable bend in it's heavy, thick rim, in an area about 1" I am not sure if the camera picked up on this, it can be seen only under very close examination. The Metropolitan Opera stood close by on 39th Street and a series of other fine hotels reached up to Times Square. Shortly after the Hotel Martinique opened. Plans to open Pennsylvania Station were announced and Macy’s opened on Herald Square. It was the perfect time for William R. H. Martin, owner and namesake of the Hotel Martinique, to submit the plans to double the size of the Hotel Martinique. The handle is marked with the number 33. This cute little creamer is 3" in height and approximately 2" across the bottom. It is approximately 4" in width including the handle and measures 7" around the middle. This is a very pretty unique little creamer and would make a wonderful collectible. It could be used to hold small items or displayed with other silver collectibles. It was difficult to get good pictures of this creamer because of the shine. Vintage 1930's- 1940's International Silver Co. Hotel Quality Silver Soldered 6 Oz. Sugar Bowl KLOEPPEL HOTELS JACKSONVILLE& WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA This is a heavy. High quality vintage silver soldered sugar bowl. The quality is typical for high end hotel silver. It was made for The Kloeppel Hotels by The International Silver Co. and is marked on the bottom Kloppel Hotels, IS, International Silver Co. EP-NS, Silver Soldered, 011 1/2, 6 oz. and a 39 in a square. The Kloppel Hotels owned 3 hotels in Jacksonville Florida- The Hotel Mayflower. Hotel George Washington and Hotel Jefferson and 2 hotels in West Palm Beach- The Hotel Pennsylvania and Hotel George Washington. The sugar bowl measures 4 7/8" from handle to handle by 3 1/2" in diameter excluding the handles. By 2" tall. It has the usual very light tiny scratches ... morenormally found in vintage hotel silver otherwise it is in excellent condition with wonderful shine. There is no sign of silver loss.
