Antique Feed Mill Barn Door Orig Old Paint
Probably once the side door to an old feed mill or barn. This 85" tall x 30" wide door dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is made with tongue and grooved wood, each piece measuring 5 1/4" wide x 3/4" thick with the white side having 85" long vertical pieces and the gray/green side having 30" long horizontal pieces( they are at right angles to each other and nailed together) The only handles are blocks of wood, one on each side, which leads me to believe this was a sliding door. This is a heavy piece that is being sold as a New Jersey Pick-up with possible free delivery to areas of northern New Jersey that are east of the Garden State Parkway and north of RT 78. Up for auction is a nice set of Louden barn door rollers in good condition. They have been lightly cleaned and the 2 on the left are in good working order and the 2 on the right need bearings. They are 8" tall and 4 3/4" wide. This is an unusual set and they have the earliest patent date that I've seen for door rollers. UNUSUAL PRIMITIVE BARN DOOR ROLLER STEAMPUNK REPURPOSE ((MUST SEE))
Up for auction we have this primitive single barn door roller. At least this what I believe this roller was used for, though I must admit I dont know how this roller was mounted or configured as there are no mounting holes present! The diameter of the roller is 6 inches. The outside diameter of the roller is about 3/4 inches. The inner groove of the roller measures 5/16ths. The stand alone weight of the roller is 4 lbs. 2 ozs.The exposed hollow roller pin is somewhat sharp.The roller spins freely. As with most of my iron items, I cleaned this item with a wire brush and then clear sprayed the roller. Perhaps someone out there in ebay land can find a new purpose for this roller! Antique Barn Hinges - 4 Offset Heavy Duty 7x10 in
These hinges measure 7 1/4 inches tall at the hinge barrel by 2 3/8 inches wide across the flat(3 1/8 inches including the barrel) the strap is 10 inches long by 3 inches at the barrel end. They are 1/8 inch thick. As shown in the first photograph. They open outward and the door would set back from the barrel by about 5/8 inch. They mount to the door frame with flat head screws and to the door with carriage bolts. The hinges came from an old barn that was torn down 30+ years ago. I intended to use them when rebuilding a large shed but could not when I decided to make the doors open inward. They have been wire brushed and treated with a rust neutralizer(leaving an attractive stippled finish) and are ready for paint. They all run smoothly. As the set weighs over 11 pounds. A PAIR OF MID 1800'S BLACKSMITH MADE IRON DOOR HINGES 36" LONG 1840'S, 1850'S
Well here we go with a pair of very heavy duty well made iron hinges. Probably made for some very big entrance doors, maybe barn doors. Hand made by a blacksmith. Very early, I would say the 1840's or 50's. They are 36" long and weigh about 11 pounds each. They are between 1/4" and 5/16" thick. I can just picture these as the door hardware on a hugh, thick, plantation front door, back in the early 1800's. The end where the hinge pins would be is 3& 1/4" in width. I would say they were used also at a much later date, as the bolts in them is not period to the hinges themselves. The two holes closer to the hinge pin end are approximately 1/4" in diameter, and the other 4 holes are about 1/4" in diameter. I have been a woodworker and furniture maker for over 30 years. I also restore and tinker with old furniture and hardware. My preference these days is to work with salvaged and reclaimed materials. My barn door headboards are completely scratch built. I take down the barns. I clean up the wood removing any remnants of lead paint. Etc then I build the headboard doors one at a time. antique [ NOS ] barn door rollers with 7' pc of track
A set of new old stock barn door rollers that are in excellent condition. They do have some minor surface rust on them. The 3 1/4" wheels are cast iron and they work smoothly. The 7' pc of track was stripped of the old paint and then repainted. The rail of the track measures 1 1/4" tall by 3/16" thick and it is good and straight with all of the original wall brackets intact and well connected. The wall brackets would hold the rail of the track out 1 1/2" from the wall. Shipping to the lower 48 US States only.

antique horse barn door rollers with track [ 9' pc ]
A set of adjustable tandem wheel rollers that have no chips or cracks and all of the wheels turn freely. These rollers are in excellent working condition. These rollers are very smooth running and they do have the stay on feature that would keep them from lifting off of the track. These rollers have to be slid onto the track from either end. I"dressed up" a somewhat basic looking set of rollers by welding on some very large old horseshoes. If someone buys these they will be getting a"one of a kind" set of very rustic rollers. The track pc is good and straight and sturdy[excellent condition] and it measures 9' long and the rail measures 1 1/4" by 3/16" I do have another 3' pc of exact matching track[ from same barn and color etc. if someone would want more track footage[ $25 extra] Thank you for viewing ... moreour set of"horseshoe" rollers.
