Antique Cast Iron Vintage Ornate Barn Door Roller Guide Pulley
These 2 ornate barn door guides are 15 1/2 inches long and have a 5 inch wheel on them. They are heavy cast iron. The 5 inch wheel and the 1 inch roller both turn freely. It looks like the patent dates are 1878 to 1880. As you can see. The one wheel does have a piece broke out of it. A good welder could fix this fairly easy. A good cleaning and paint and they would really look sharp.

Here we have a very nice Antique“Myers” Barn Door Roller. It measures approx 12” high by 7” wide and will work on a flat track. The whole unit is made of cast iron and was manufactured in the early 1900’s. The roller is embossed“Myers– Stayon– Adjustable– Ashland. O. U. S. A. The roller is in as-found condition. Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is a pair of antique cast iron JAMESWAY rollers/ pulleys. I am not sure if these were used for a large barn door with a roller system or used with a hay trolley pulley system. Both pieces are marked near the top on one side with JAMESWAY. On the cross bar with 5A, and each of the wheels or rollers is marked on one side with L80A. Both set ups have old blue paint on them. One more than the other. The pictures show the rust coloring on each piece as a bright, brassy color– it is indeed surface rust or rust coloring and will easily come clean with a bit of steel wool and attention to detail. There ... moreare also some small bits of dried dirt and sand here and there. I did not brush or scrub these down or spray them with any lubricant, just a dry towel to remove the dirt and dust. Each roller system is about 8” tall and 9 ¾” wide at the wheels. The four pulley wheels or rollers each measures 4 ¾” wide and are 1” wide. The groove in each wheel will accommodate a rope or track that is ½” wide. The groove is ¼” deep. Each roller set has an old original bolt. Nut, standard washer and lock washer. All of the pieces are rusty and one bolt is bent over a bit. Both of the nuts come off, but the bolts should be replaced since the nuts only screw down a small way on the bolt. These are old steel ride on top of the trolley barn door attachments. They are user friendly in that they spin. And can be adjusted where you put the carriage bolts in to secure the door. You will need a piece of steel as your trolley that is less than 1 1/2 inches wide. You can get the steel piece you need in the length you want from any local steel fabricator. They are inexpensive. The wheel on this spins easily and is relatively rust free. The original bolts were screwed back on for reuse but I am having some difficulty unscrewing them. Antique / Vintage Cast Iron Barn Door Pulley Roller with bracket Primitive
Antique cast iron barn door pulley with mounting bracket and hard wares. Wheel is 7 3/4" across. Bracket is 12" across on one side and 9 1/2" across. Has three square head bolts with square nuts. Nice rusty New England barn find but no pitting or metal deterioration at all.

They each measure 11 3/4" long and 5 1/2" wide at the widest point( 4 3/8" from center of bolt holes across) They do funcion properly and would be a great addition for any interior design project for the authentic Barn door look and would be great to use on a sliding door in a loft space!
