You are bidding on 1(one) VINTAGE IRON METAL SLIDING BARN DOOR ROLLER/ HANGER ASSEMBLY. On one side there is a plate that is marked“BIG 4” and“PAT APR 24 1906 NATIONAL MFG CO STERLING. ILL” The overall length is approximately 10 1/4” and approximately 5 3/4” at the widest point. The free turning wheel measures approximately 3 1/4” in diameter. Approximately 5/8” wide and has a track groove approximately 1/4” wide. The U shape mounting bracket has 3 mounting holes with bolts and I’m not sure if the slight bend in the bracket was made that way. It weighs approximately 3 1/4 pounds. There is some surface rust and little pitting but overall appears to be in solid condition with no chips, breaks or cracks. I’ll leave the cleaning and restoration to the professionals. Antique Wood Sliding Barn Door -Cast Iron Track -1900-100+ Years Old-Vintage
This is an authentic antique sliding barn door. At one time functioning in my barn. Built in 1900. It has age marks, chippy blue paint on the handle, rust on the tracks, although this doesn't effect the rolling, and a very old hole cut into the bottom. The track is straight. Dimensions-82 1/2" H x 48 3/4" W x 2" Thick. The track is-94" long. The rollers are 10" H x 9 1/4" W x 2" D. The hole is 4" W x 5" H and could be covered with a thin veneer wood or left as is or the height may too tall for your opening and it would be cut after that point. PICK UP ONLY-Central NY area. A set of 2 vintage barn door rollers made of steel and cast iron. The only markings that we found is what appears to be the# 383. The rollers spin freely and are apr. 3 1/8 inches in diameter. The overall length is apr. 11 3/4 inches. The bracket part that goes on to the door is apr. 1 3/4 inches wide and will accept a door apr. 1 5/8 inches thick. We gave the parts a basic cleaning with a wire brush to check for any damage. None found. The parts may need a further cleaning depending upon your preference. The pictures should show the rest. Old Unmarked Barn Door Roller
Over the years I have had opportunities to be at some great sales and find some interesting items in the old barns. I like to call them my Fabulous Barn Finds and this barn door roller is one of them. This came straight out of an old multi-generational farm that threw absolutely nothing out. I could only find the one roller though so what is pictured is what you are bidding on. I have looked this roller over and could not find any maker name or any other identifying mark on it. It still is in working order. The wheel still turns freely and retains some of its original black paint. The bracket itself measures about 14 1/2 inches long. It has a tapering effect that starts out about 1 1/2 inches wide at the bottom and expands to 3 3/4 inches wide at the widest of the first bolt holes. It then ends up about 3 inches wide at the last bolt hole ... morearea. The wheel is 5 1/2 inches across. There are no breaks nor repairs to this item and the rust is mostly a surface rust that could easily be sanded. You may not be able to see it in the pictures. But the bracket also retains a bit of the original black paint as well. There may be only the one, but I am sure someone could find a good use for this in your farm or industrial type décor. The whole thing is made of solid iron and weighs in at 5 pounds. I will do combined shipping and if you are waiting for the conclusion of another auction please let me know. Other then paint loss they are in good condition. The roller still rolls easily. They are 10" across the top and approximately 10 3/4" long. They are heavy weighing over 7 pounds. Antique Heavy Duty Set Horseshoe Barn Door Rollers w/ 8' Track Blacksmith Nails
A very nice piece this is an antique set of two heavy duty barn door rollers complete with it's original 8' track and 13 blacksmith made nails we pulled out of the barn when we took everything down. It is complete and ready to install but some of the nails need straightened and the one roller wheel has a broken flange and it will need to be replaced. This is very simple to do. Drill or grind off the one rivet head I am pointing two and the wheel just slips out. You will need another similar 3" wheel to take its place, I would think a 3" pulley bought here on Ebay or at a home improvement store will work perfect. I am listing this as a 24 hour auction starting at half the price of the others here on Ebay. If it doesnt sell I am going to replace the $8 wheel and it will sell for much more. It doesnt matter what it looks like ... morebecause it will never be seen when the door is on the track. This was in a 120 year old barn that was recently torn down and while it has a rusty patina on the track, the doors at one time were painted red then white as those colors are on the rollers. The nails are very brittle so be gentle straightening them out. You set the price on this one as it goes to the last bidder! If you could only see the area that we picked a lot of these architectural items that we are listing from, a very neat group of log cabins way back in the woods in SW Penna. from a man who kept most everything to keep it from being discarded. The hinges look to be in great shape. All three sets are the same model numbers, the pulley detaches off the door bracket just fine, somewhat dirty, the pulleys spin nicely, barn found fresh. Antique Primitive Vintage Barn Door Track 8ft
I have for sale an eight foot piece of very old barn door roller track. Most of what i have gathered dates this back to the late 1800's through the very early 1900's. This piece is still in amazing shape and could easily be used in your home or shop. Simply brilliant craftsmanship and absolutely straight as it was over a century ago. SALVAGE STOOL LEGS- ARCHITECTURAL Approximate measurements: all- 9 1/2" x 7/8" 2 1/4" shortest one) Approximate weight: 5 lbs. I found these stool legs in a tub picked up at an auction. I think someone was trying to get rid of them. But what jewels. They are screaming to become a new step stool or who know what. I sized them off of the shorter leg. Not by much is it shorter but that seemed like the best thing to do. Hope you can think of something unique to create with them. I am located in central Illinois and used to own a small sawmill business. A few years ago we sold the saw but kept the lumber thinking of all the wonderfully beautiful things that could be created with the wood.furniture. Art, and anything in between. Well, three years later I haven't even made a dent in the inventory. Knowing that a move is coming, ... moreand not really wanting to move it, my treasure trove of amazing looking lumber is open to you.
