Bought at auction recently from an old wood shop. The previous owner was making reproduction 18th& 19th century furniture. These spindles are either maple or pine. Antique Pine Step Back Cupboard w/ 3 Drawers, Shabby Painted Primitive Furniture
This is a wonderful Primitive Antique Cupboard. It would date back to the late 1800's and this stately piece is unusual because it steps back with a nice ledge and has 3 drawers. the surface is old white paint with the doors shabby craped down to the older green color. It really has a great LOOK! I like it with the doors open for displaying my collectibles. It is 77.5" tall x 50" wide at that middle shelf. The shelf is 9.5" out which is more than most stepback cupboards. At that area it is 22" out from the wall. It has been used as you can see with a mouse hole here and there. Old tin lids cover a few of them. It is really heavy and all one piece so I found it hard to move. Very. Very Heavy! Antique Architectural Salvage Furniture Parts Eastlake Pediment/Pine Backsplash
Welcome. Offered today is a lot of 2 antique architectural salvage furniture parts. The first is a pediment from the Victorian period with an Eastlake design. It is made of walnut but I am not 100% sure. It measures 33 1/2" long. It features a scalloped design with a large center detail. The scalloped area is 1 1/2" and the large center is 3 1/8" The piece is 7/8" wide and can sit on a door or window molding. This is in good condition with a lovely patina. The dowels that originally held it in place have broken off but could easily be drilled out if you needed to. The next piece is made of hand planed pine and came off a primitive wash stand or wash table. It was the backsplash. This too has a lovely patina. This measures 32" long and is 5 1/2" wide. It features a curved cut out design on each end. There are ... moretwo holes where it was attached. It is a thin piece. 1/2" but solid. The original color was a pumpkin and one side is more finished than the other which is more rustic. There is a long narrow but shallow slice off of one side. Pair Rustic Primitive Pine Log Cabin Furniture Footstools Ottomans
For your consideration is this pair of rustic country pine footstools. They are each made from a cut slab of what I believe was a pine log that measures about 15" in diameter and about 2 1/2" thick. They both have matching screw on legs that give them a finished height of about 14" They both remain in very nice ready to use condition. Each one has a naturally occuring split in the top but neither one is lose in any way nor do you get the indication that it could get worse. I suppose they likely occured early on in the drying process and are no longer a risk. Each one also has a slight wobble when on a hard flat surface. Again. A function of the irregular shaped top. What a great little child's size Victorian dresser. It could be A Salesman sampler or just that, a child's/ doll furniture. True Victorian Circa- 1890( wow almost 125 years old. The top portion is mixed. Oak and Ash, the bottom is Oak and Pine It is a nice LARGE dresser it measures 38 inches( over 3 feet tall) to the top The base is 18 1/2 inches tall. The dresser is almost 2 feet. At 21 inches wide 10 inches deep. The mirror is 7 1/4 X 9 1/2 It even has a jewelry/ catch all box on the top. It measures 12 inches wide X 4 1/2 inches deep. And still has it's candle holders on each side of mirror one shelf bracket on the left side is missing a small tip of the wood. It still holds and shows well.
