Antique Dutch Armoire Linen Cupboard
This hand-built reproduction of a 18th century Dutch armoire would look beautiful in your home or office. An original sold recently for over €20.000. I’m not sure about its exact age, but the materials and the construction methods used suggest that this armoire was built in the early 1900’s. This armoire has two paneled doors with molded ebony inlays. Inside are three oak plank shelves. With a small drawer suspended from the bottom one. Below the doors is a single wide drawer, locked with a pin from inside the unit. Dimensions are approximately 74.4"189 cm) high, 19.7" 50 cm) deep, and 59” 150 cm) wide. The largest dimensions are for the top of the unit: 70.1 inches(178 cm) at its widest point, and 25.6" 65 cm) deep. The doors measure about 58.3" 148 cm) in width. It has ball feet in front and straight legs at the back ... moreof the unit. The lock is fully functional and includes an ornate key. There is some evidence of normal wear-and-tear. But no significant visible damage. The armoire is held together with pins. And consists of a base, 2 side panels, 2 doors, 2 panels for the back of the unit, and a top.
