A nice set of 4 iron hairpin legs that were salvaged from an old teak table. They are all iron and measure 29 inches. These are top quality legs with predrilled holes for attachment to your table. Set of 4 Antique Cast Iron and Blown Glass Claw Feet, Very Clean Salvage Stock
This listing is for a set of four cast iron and blown glass claw feet. These antique/vintage feet are most likely from the turn of the century. Late 1800's to early 1900's. This nice set has been painted gold and the paint shows some wear as is appropriate to the age. There is some light corrosion(see images) The blown glass shows scuffing on the bottoms as is normal but the glass otherwise is clear, un-chipped or cracked. They measure 4 inches tall from the bottom of the glass to the top of the leg, and they are 1 inch in diameter at the opening of the leg. I still have some new farm auction stuff to list, as well as some South Dakota/Wyoming vacation stuff to list but also recently drove with a friend out to Eastern Ohio. Stopped at two barn sales along the way- both Amish homes, and did I get some fabulous finds. Some very old primitives and antiques, and I’m thrilled to post them for you this week. I’ll be listing just about every day this week, so be sure to keep checking! Here is a nice. Solid brass cabinet door sliding clasp. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition, with and age darkened patina- some spots darker than others. It's a simple piece, actuall two pieces- with a sliding bar that slides into a U shaped bracket that makes up the second piece. I'm sorry if it's hard to visualize- this came right ... moreout of the barn with the other hardware and with the copper wire that is used to keep the two pieces together, and I didn't take the time to remove it when taking my photos. The two pieces sit and fit together as they should- one on each door side. When the clasp is closed and both pieces are together, it measures 3 3/16" long and 1 1/4" high. Excellent working condition- the bar slides easily as it should. It's barn fresh dirty and could use a good cleaning- I have not messed with the as found patina in any way. Circa 1800s. Architectural, salvage piece. Classical Roman females busts near each end. Embossed floral and leafy carving all across the middle. Beveled trim along bottom and clover trim along top. Great to use as a one of a kind display shelf. Deep beveling along front and sides of top board. I believe the wood is walnut, but not certain. Work in most all of the bed frames that accept side button drop in ends. These are the original color brown. Nice shape Dimensions: Each rail is 75.5" long and the actual"L"s of the rails have sides that are 2" high and bottoms that are 1.75" wide. Pins are button shaped on the outsides and about 3/4" in diameter and they slide into 1/2" or larger slots. CONDITION: Good Used Condition! LOT of 8 vintage spindles. Lengths from 23 inches to 28 inches long. Three are from probably 1900 tables& weathered. Three are unused vintage made and unfinished and appear to never have been installed, and two are stained brown tone, probably about 1940, and these appear to have been used on a table possibly, but in very good condition. Majority of the spindles were probably hand made with machine use only for shaping, if that. Three vintage weathered 1900 legs are 28 inches each in lenght and the bases run 2 1/4 inch to 2 3/4 inch across. Three unfinished unused vintage spindles are 23 inches long with 2 1/4 inch bases each. Two brown tone spindles are 25 inches long each and have 2 3/8 inch bases. In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks had amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. There’s some gorgeous pieces of primitive Americana that I found. I was saying in my last listing that I purchased a box lot of old finials and paired those matching ones together to sell, and then planned to sell the not matching ones as a lot. The two that are in the first photo, I originally planned to sell separately, but changed my mind just now as they really are different sizes, and a little bit different shape on top, so I decided to throw them in with the lot of 2 that I have in my second photo- that's how I'm coming up with 6 finials in total for this auction. Antique Mahogany Wood Carved Lion Claw Tri Foot Feet Parts Repair Table Base
Beautiful antique wooden carved tri-foot lion claw feet for furniture repair. These are lovely and were made early. Not sure of the age, I unfortunately broke the table that they were attached to. The actual claw feet are 10 1/2" from the toes/claws to the middle base by 8 1/4" high from floor to the base. The center base piece is about 9 1/4" high by 4 3/8" wide. I believe that they're mahogany, but can't be positive. Please examine the pictures closely, there are some glue marks, etc. that show the condition better than I can describe. Thanks for looking!
