Up for auction is Very Heavy Duty Vintage Cast Iron Swivel Caster. Wheel is Cast Iron and the rest is Heavy Thick Steel. Wheel measures approx. 6" tall and it is 3" wide and the whole assembly is approx. 7 1/2" tall and the base measures approx. 5 1/4" X 7 1/4" This wheel is a monster it weighs almost 35 lbs. by itself. I have up for sale a set of 6 very heavy duty cast iron casters. Made by Bassick. These came off industrial metal bins. All 6 are the type that don't swivel; they roll back and forth. These all roll freely. I did a little cleaning and oiled them to make sure they would roll freely. They still could use a dip in a solvent tank or a good sand blasting. I left the rivets in them in case they could be reused; they look cool. If you can't use them a light tap with a hammer knocks them right out; and you can mount them with a bolt. This is a set of four very heavy duty casters made by Albion Caster Co. This set has a A- 4- H cast in them see the 6th picture. They are 5 1/2" from the mounting plate to the the bottom of the wheel. The plate is 4 1/2" by 4" and the caster itself is 4" across and 1 1/2" wide. I do not see any chips or cracks. This set is a little more greasy because they have a grease nipple on them. They need a trip through a solvent tank or a sand blasting; I cleaned them up a little for the pictures. This auction is for a set of 4 cast iron swivel wheel casters. They seem to be antique and look to be industrial. They measure approximately 4.5 inches tall from bottom of wheel to top. The wheel measures about 1 3/4 inches in diameter. I could not find a set similar to compare. There is a name on the inside of each caster however with the wear I can not see it well enough to read. THREE LARGE ANTIQUE 1800'S CAST IRON AND WOOD CASTER WHEELS
For sale are 3 very large antique caster wheels from the 1800's. The wheels are all in good shape with normal wear and are all usable. The wheels are about 3 and 1/2 inches wide and are 1 and 1/8 of an inch thick. From the top of the metal piece to the bottom of the wheel it measures about 8 and 1/2 inches. The piece that goes into the hole measures 3 and 1/2 inches. I don't know if these are for furniture or are industrial. I would think that being as big as they are that it would be industrial. But I just don't know for sure. The metal parts are cast iron. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you.

4 Old Industrial Cart Heavy Duty Swivel Casters 4" Diameter Wheels- Set Of Four Casters very similar or the same are selling for over $200 on eBay. Better pictures is all you get with the other ones. The pictures do not do them justice. You will be very happy when this arrives at your door and adds the finishing touch to your fun project. The wheels have a great vintage look to them. The color and patina are original as found. They have been cleaned with dish soap and water. No harsh chemicals, just dish soap and a lot of elbow grease. The wheels where taking off of heavy industrial carts. All four freely pivot and turn 360 degrees with little with very little or no resistance. The measurements are as follows. The widest part of the plate(with the holes) is 5" The holes are spaced 4" on center. Turning the base the other way ... morethe plate is 4" at the widest point and the holes are 3" on center. When standing or put on something they are 5" tall. Meaning the four wheels with elevate anything you put on them by 5" All casters are the same size. No sealer or coating is put on them. Each wheel has its own unique character. Please look at the many pictures available. The pictures with the measurements are not the wheels included, they are for reference only. The wheel is 1 1/2" in diameter. The wheel itself is 1/2" wide and it stands 3 1/2" tall. As you can see in the pictures it has some rust and places where the paint seems worn off.
