This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! They are about 30 pounds before packing! There are a few missing edges. Also include are the pieces that you screw to the bottom of your tab le. T hat slide into the grove on the back of these to hold the apron on your table. I think these are oak. But I am not a wood expert. So not sure. Decorative Wood Salvage Piece Eastlake/ Victorian Style? I don’t know the history or original function of this piece. But it may have come from a dresser or a mirror. It has some interesting details with finials on each side. It might even have been Frankensteined by someone out of different parts for all I know. It measures 15” long X 5-7/16” high(not measuring the rough tab like part at the bottom) X 1-11/16” deep. It weighs 1 lb. 1 ounce. Please see the photos as they are part of the description. It is in good condition. The finials are not glued in and are removable. There are a few nicks and chips on the wood. Obvious glue is seen. A group of 17 wood spindles. The set of four spindles have an over all length of apr. 12 1/8- 12 1/4 inches. The set of 13 have an overall length of apr. 10 5/8- 10 3/4 inches. The center part of the spindles are apr. 13/16 of an inch in diameter. In one of the pictures it shows the center part of a shorter and longer spindle and also the ends. A person should be able to shorten the longer spindles to the length of the shorter ones. There is loss and wear to the finish. We did not notice and damage, cracks, etc. There may be an occasional ding. Nothing that caught our attention. The pictures should show the rest. WOOD FINIAL antique vintage old bed clock armoire furniture part salvaged piece
You are buying ONE(1) wood finial. about 7 1/2 inches tall. Appears to be a softwood. Stained dark. Lots of dings where the stain is chipped off. There are NO defects in the form. all the contours are smooth and undamaged.no chips or gouges. There are at least two places that are problematic. There is one line on the base that appears to be an original wood growth line. The other is a connected line on the top that outlines a large(2 inch chip) I think that the chip was reglued at the wood shop prior to staining because the line is stained and not a different color than the rest of the piece. it is round on the edges and looks like is was sanded prior to staining. it is very faint. However you will have to be the judge. I think this is a very nice piece(after touch up re-staining) and I will be happy to take it back. No questions asked.

My guess is solid wood because 1) they seem very hard and 2) they are pretty heavy(about 3.5 lbs apiece) They are finished with a matte black paint that is worn and scuffed in places(see photos) Condition is good but used. Each has two long screws sticking out of the top for attachment to table apron. Each leg measures about 28.75 inches tall. And the top/ square part is about 3 inches across(see photos) The bottom of each is round in shape, with a small hole that could hold a caster wheel, and is just under 1.5 inches across. Theses taper from 2 1/4" to 1 3/4" very nice and have no chips or gouges. Structurally these are in great shape and have the screws and nuts attached. One leg has a crack by the screw- this will not affect the integrity of the support or project and most likely will be hidden by the table skirt. These are simple but thats all the pioneers had.
