4 + 2 Antique Industrial Brass Cup Swivel Casters Furniture Wheels
Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. And the entire piece is about 2 3/4" tall. The smaller ones have wheels that are just over 1 1/8" wide and 7/16" thick- the cups are just over 1 1/4" wide to the outside edges(inside is about 1 1/8" and it tapers down) the cups are just over 1 1/8" tall, and the entire piece is about 2 7/16" tall.

Four Bassick casters from an Industrial Salvage auction. They most likely came from a 1940s-1950s office/secretary's chair. They are. I believe, made of steel and the black rolling ball is some type of hard rubber. The diameter of the ball is about 1-3/4" the height of the caster(without the shaft) is about 2-1/8" and the shaft is 1-1/2" The manufacturer, Bassick, is imprinted on each ball. They show signs of use/wear but no serious dents or major dings. They all roll freely. One caster has an additional hardware piece attached to the shaft. They are all in need of a major clean up. These have a really cool industrial look. I can see them on any type of trunk or box for a coffee table ect. Last pics show them upright and give a better idea of how they would look mounted. Pair of HEAVY IRON CASTERS DOUBLE WHEELS STEAMPUNK Furniture Industrial 1877
Offered for auction is this great old pair of double wheeled swivel casters. They are made of cast iron but had originally been brass plated. Wheels are made of wood but still function well.
