3 Matching Vintage 1-inch Diameter Wooden Casters Castors with Steel Forks
This is a set of 3 matching wooden casters mounted on steel forks. The wheels measure 1 inch in diameter and the stems measure 1 3/4 inches in length. I can't measure too exactly. But the axle seems to measure 3/4 inches in length. They are in good condition, but do show their age: there is some wear on the wood and some rust on the metal. Mechanically, they look great. Up for bid are 4 vintage steel heavy duty casters. I would guess these were used on an industrial cart or piece of machinery. The wheels turn freely. There is very little play in the assemblies. There is a fiber board gasket on 2 of them as can be seen in the pictures. I have no idea of the age. The wheels are about 1 3/4 inches in diameter and about 1 inch wide. This item/items as most of the things I sell. Came from an auction, flea market, estate sale or rummage sale. I FOUR 1 3/4" diameter brass legs for a brass bed with three casters. Three of the legs are 11 3/8" 13 3/4" with the caster. One leg is12" 14 1/4" with the caster. The caster wheels are steel with 4 holes- the wheels are 1 3/4" diameter. Legs and casters are great shape. I've just come across another full box of bed parts that I'll be listing over the next two weeks or so. I'm in the process of packing my house to move to California so I do get side-tracked.
