Antique cast metal ram's head. 3-1/4" long x 2-1/4" wide. I found a piece similar to this one that sold on Ebay in March. But it had an added cowl around the neckline. The cowl is missing on this piece and looks like some kind of adhesive was applied to the back. It's black and very hard.There is a threaded hole in the back. Still a nice piece for repurposing. Decorative Wood Salvaged From China Hutch Great for Resourcing/Repurpose Use
Not sure of exact details. Just that these were decorative supports salvaged from a old family China Hutch. The lengths are pieced together like a puzzle which forms the finial. Many of the pieces have come loose. But they are all in this lot. Many uses for these pieces; reconstructed, or mounted flush to something for decorative or the pieces used for other forms of art or crafts. Five-15" long finials and a mound of the pieces that have come loose is what is included in this lot.

Antique salvaged carved solid hardwood curved sofa legs restore repurpose
These legs came off an antique camel back brocade sofa from the 1930's(or earlier) that I purchased at estate auction yrs ago. It was a very well constructed piece of furniture with hand tied springs. A heavy hard wood frame, and horse hair for the first layer of padding. When I retired it for good. I salvaged these front legs. The back"legs" were actually part of the frame itself, or else I would have saved them as well. They have the original finish on them except for where I used a little denatured alcohol to help identify the wood. I am not positive. But my best guess is that they are mahogany or maybe cherry. They are NOT identical! That was never noticeable when they were on my couch- only when I put them side by side to measure. Upon doing my research. I found out that this style of carving is very complex and can only ... morebe done with one solid piece of wood so it's actually not unusual for them not to be exact duplicates. Original four factory wood screws included- they are flat(square) head- another clue that they are old. Cross head screws weren't used until the later 1930's and after. Measurements: Right leg: 3.5" all 4 sides at the top where it fastens. 6" high. 2.25" across; 2" front to back at the bottom where it rests on the floor(foot pad) Left leg: 3 sides at 3.5" and the back side is 3" across at the top. 6" high. 2 1/16" across; 2" front to back at the bottom(foot pad) You can't go to Lowes and buy these!

4 Black Painted Wood Table Legs Salvaged Furniture Parts Repurpose Butcher Block
Set of 4 salvaged wood table legs. Butcher block/ farmer style. I do not know what kind of wood they are. My guess is solid wood because 1) they seem very hard and 2) they are pretty heavy(about 3.5 lbs apiece) They are finished with a matte black paint that is worn and scuffed in places(see photos) Condition is good but used. Each has two long screws sticking out of the top for attachment to table apron. Each leg measures about 28.75 inches tall. And the top/ square part is about 3 inches across(see photos) The bottom of each is round in shape, with a small hole that could hold a caster wheel, and is just under 1.5 inches across. PAIR ANTIQUE BRASS BED FINIALS SALVAGED FOR RE-USE REPURPOSE 4" HIGH
Please scroll down under this description for additional views.Salvaged pair of brass bed finials. 4" tall, 3" diameter with 5/16" threaded opening on the underside. More interesting than just the usual"balls" these have a nice profile. They are in need of polishing if you prefer the shiny look of brass. I left them unpolished partly because I am too lazy to polish them and partly because I think the patina is quite interesting. Maybe you don't want them for a bed- they could be mounted on ends of a dowel for a unique curtain rod or set on top of a candlestick for a decorative accent.
