The base measures approx. 5" x 4 3/4" with drilled mounting holes that measure 3 5/8" and 4" center to center. The wheels move freely and are covered in surface rust. I have left them exactly as found not knowing if someone wants the aged patina. They need a good cleaning and grease. The only defect I can find is a small chip in one of the wheels.see the photo) I'm not sure if it's an old chip or defect in the casting. Two of the wheels appear as though the holes weren't drilled through after the casting. The wheels are the largest I've seen and with a weight of almost 11 lbs. each. Antique Ornate 1800's Adjustable Industrial Table Steampunk Medical Furniture
Late 1800's early 1900's roatating medical stand? The wood top is not original. The top is made with pine and is tongue and grooved together. Then stained and clear coated. Everything else is original. It has a Steampunk feel with the handle/knob on the side which lowers and raises the top. You can also tilt the table top. It has ornate an design on the metal and the wheels are iron castors. It has a nice thin layer of rust that gives it a great look. You could even clear coat it to seal it in and give it a shine. The fastening points are approximately 16 1/2" away from each other on all three sides. The piece itself stands 35 1/2" tall. Also a nice feature! The bottom stance is 40" in two directions and the third spacing is 35" making this a very stable base! Up for your consideration is this unbelievable piece of cast iron machinery that has amazing patina. The top portion is darker. Almost purple like. As you look further down it becomes lighter in color with some blues and rusty beautyness. Antique Lathe Legs- Industrial Table Base Up for your consideration are these extremely solid cast iron legs. The top of the legs are very wide and very stout. These have been used in an industrial setting until they were recently taken out of service due to need being nullified. The legs are solid and no visible cracks can be observed. There is a mount on the side of one leg where the motor was secured too. This side mount plate stays in its current position and does NOT fold up. It appears as though this side platform can be taken off if you choose. Otherwise it could be used to secure just about anything due to the strength of it. The legs are 26 1/2" tall by 24" wide. These are not exact measurements and can very by a 1/4" The top plate is 9" by 8" where a table top could be secured too. There are three holes ... morefor mounting. The spacing of these are shown in the pictures just like the other measurements just mentioned. The legs were cleaned by wiping them down with water. No chemicals or intense cleaning has been performed. If the legs do not sell right away like they normally do I will probably do a little more cleaning. I would prefer the legs get picked up. I have shipping several sets before and this is a project getting the ready for shipping. Pine boards are used around the perimeter with 1/4" board enclosing both sides. The materials for making these crates is about $35 and takes close to 4 hours from start to finish. I also get charged by eBay/paypal. The FEES ALONE for the shipping is about $50 plus the approximate $130 for fees on the legs themselves. Ouch. Only the item above which was just described is up for purchase. My house. Selling a cast iron adjustable base table six ft long approx 32inches wide table raises to 37 inches lowers approximately to 28inches great dining table or island mounted on 5 inch cast iron caters that swivel for ease of moving. Table top top is a vintage school maple butcher block style. Table functions fine raises and lowers.
