This is a whole desk but is too heavy so I am just selling the legs from it. I wanted you to see what it could look like as a desk but the wood is bad in some spots but you could easily replace the wood if you wanted it as a desk again. Before you ask the only way I would sell this complete is if you come and pick it up because it is just too heavy as is. The metal legs could make an awesome table base or whatever else you can think of. I'm not sure if they are cast iron or steel but they are heavy which is good for using as a base. You can see there are some adjustable parts for height.

Pair Of Antique Cast Iron School Desk Legs, Rare!
A pair of unique antique cast iron school desk legs. These measure approximately 25 3/4" tall. 13 1/2" from back to extended arm and 12 1/2" from outer foot to foot. It has some numbers marked on them 3-4 on both and then after R and L for right and left There is some primitive wear and part of one of the feet is missing but over all in good antique condition. Vtg Antique Original 1881 #2 A.H. Andrews Cast Iron School Desk Bench Legs Parts
This is a fantastic pair of early original antique A.H. Andrews cast iron school desk legs from the 1880's. There is a patent date on one of the seat brackets that looks like 1881. There is a large number 2 in the middle of both legs that might correspond with the size or model of the desk. Others I've seen didn't have numbers or were marked with a number 3. And these look like they have more detail. They are also marked New York, Chicago. There is some black paint left. But the majority of the paint has worn off and has been replaced by surface rust. The decorative bracket that holds the seat rotates on both legs, so the seat could have been pushed down for use or up storage or transport. These would make a fantastic bench or architectural piece. They are still sturdy and solid, moving parts still move, and nothing is broken, ... morebent, or missing. There are three holes on each foot, so they could be bolted down. There is only one other screw hole on each, at the end of the seat bracket, so I'm not sure how a desk top or bench would attach. They each measure 29" W with the seat down or 19" W with it up and stand 27 1/2" H. They measure 18" W at the feet and 14" W where the desk top attaches. They will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
