It is in fair condition, but the leather handles and straps are worn, and are broken and missing pieces, ... moreexcept for the front leather strap handle, which is surprisingly intact. The trunk itself is in good condition, structurally, although I am unsure of its actual age. The trunk has gotton wet at some point, and the moisture damage and staining goes all the way through to the inside of the trunk. The covering on the outside of the trunk is worn, torn, and coming off in this area as well. The trunk has a hinged lid, and the original lining is still inside the bottom portion of the trunk. The trunk is made of wood, with a nice olive green covering that is mainly intact, except for the aforementioned area, and metal reinforced seams.

This is a pretty rad pair of super snug fit late 1950s- Early 1960s high waist swim shorts with belt banded front waistline façade created with white trim. Concealed tie off closure along inner waistline, front brief lining, flat hem seaming and inner right hip key pocket. Shorts do show normal vintage wear- noted largely in light discoloration along inside. Still in killer shape for their age. Shorts are darker than appear in photos. More of an ocean blue. Very thin, sturdy, 100% nylon swim suit. There is 1 pocket on back. Zipper fly. No liner. 1960s era. no stains,holes, fading, abrasions, pilling, smell, etc. There are several flaws: 1. 2-3'flea bites"tiny breaks in top of fabric. Very minor. 2. 2 inch area on front right top hem needs to be re-stitched( you can leave as is) so it doesn't get larger- the one thread broke after all these years(see photo#6) 3. a few broken worn stitching areas front by string(photo#3) 4. Back left bottom lip of the hem stitching has lost some of the stitching- so it makes the nylon longer than the rest on the back( a tailor/dry-cleaner can re-sew this. Vintage Men's Nike Swim Shorts Trunks Nylon Size XL Red & Blue Swoosh Pockets
Please read all the information here before bidding because the item is being sold as-is. This auction is for a pair of men’s extra large(XL) Nike swim trunks/shorts. The garment is in used condition. And has been washed since its last use. These trunks are older, I assume the 1990s, but there is not a date on any of the tags. The swim trunks have one red and one blue panel on the front and both panels on the back are blue. The trunks are about 15-inches across the waist unstretched and about 15.5-inches from the top of the trunks at the waist to the bottom. The trunks have an elastic waist along with a blue drawstring on the outside. There are pockets on either side and one on the back right of the trunks. In addition. There are vents at the side of the trunks. On the tag. It says the body of the trunks is made of‘100% Nylon’ and the lining ... moreis made of“65% Polyester 35% Cotton” The trunks do have several condition issues. There are several areas where the trunks appear to have been exposed to paint. There are paint spots on the lower left front below the Nike logo. Upper left front along the waist band, the lower left front, small spot on the back pocket, and multiple on the back left panel(see photos) There is also some discoloration on the inside of the pockets, but this is not visible when the trunks are worn. There no holes. Tears, or damage other than the aforementioned condition issues that I see. The trunks are in acceptable condition and definitely still very wearable/usable. Vintage 3 Elephant Planter Green and Gold Trunks Up- Oriental Design 1930-40's Measures: 3 1/2" high x 8" at widest x 4 3/4" opening Note: Great Condition for its age. Small grazing lines throughout the piece. Do not think it was used as a planter the inside has no dirt marks or stains and the outside is equally as good except for the grazing.
