Antique Oak Chest 2 Drawers Over 3 Locks Brass Pulls
Sturdy and strong. This is a classically styled oak chest. It features two drawers over four, and allows for plenty of storage. It has solid construction with a newer golden finish. The drawers slide easily in and out, and each features a locking mechanism, which adds nice detail. Sadly, we do no have the original keys. The hardware is in good condition, though the top left drawer pull is missing its decorative backing plate. The top of the chest has a lovely serpentine shape. And while the surface shows wear that is consistent with age and use, it is still in very good condition. The back is starting to show its age, and some of the finishing wood has bowed. We have included a photo for reference. This does not effect the structure of the piece. The side panels have shifted a bit, and with the movement, there is some slight discoloration ... morein the seams. Again, we have included a photo. Chic 1970'S Spanish Sarreid Brass Table Chest Stand 3 Drawers Hollywood Regency
This is a 3 drawer Sarreid brass Chest of Drawers measuring 19"x19"x19" This chest has patina-ed with time and in order for the brass to reclaim it's sheen one would have to strip the original clear coating off. Repolish the brass and then recoat it with a clear finish. I am not that person. I think this piece is beautiful the way it is. It is well built and definitely holds it's own for a conversation piece. It's missing one of two pieces of hardware on one of it's handles that holds the handle to it's drawer. This piece consists of a brass strap brazed to a 1/4" threaded bolt which then gets a brass acorn(or finish) nut on the inside of the drawer. The handle works without the extra tie. Only it does have a tendency to"teeter" after use and for that reason you may want to replace or repair ... morethis missing piece. Please ask any questions before bidding.
