Really beautiful chest of drawers and dresser with attached mirror. The pieces were designed and crafted by Johnson Carper Furniture Company of Roanaoke for their"Fashion Trend" mid century modern Danish inspired line. The set includes a 5 drawer Chest of Drawers and a 6 drawer Dresser with its original mirror and hardware. It is some times difficult to find a set with the original mirror intact. But this sets includes the mirror and it is in good condition. The drawers have very cool sculpted wooden side pulls that are beautifully crafted. They stand out from the dresser and chest of drawers like wood carvings. Very functional art. Each drawer is solid wood and of dovetailed construction. The top is laminate. It is a wonderful retro ensemble. The Dresser works well as a buffet and the mirror is easily detached. The furniture is ... moresolid. Sturdy and not overly large. It is in very good condition with only slight wear and tear appropriate to the age of the pieces. Chest of Drawers: 18 inches wide X 34 inches across X 43 inches high. This chest is a unique style for Stickley being much more in the mid century modern design. Overall good original condition. Showing some use and wear. a few small scuffs/marks and some spots where the finish has alligation marks which may have been caused by heat. All in all this displays nicely as is or would be stunning if refinished. Missing the key but the knob still turns and locks. Includes original removable lift tray inside.
