The chair shown is offered elsewhere in our collection Item# 110105PII25 This is a remarkably preserved English Chippendale Period Kneehole Desk. Circa 1740-50. It is crafted of well figured solid single boards of Mahogany on the top and sides- there is no veneer on this desk, just solid boards of full grain mahogany. A simply molded edge runs the perimeter of the top, each corner scalloped. Each drawer is hand dovetailed front and back, with thin oak frame construction and thin oak drawer bottoms- all drawers are fully original and lack any adjustments and restorations to the secondary construction. Glowing hand forged brass hardware adorns each drawer. Appearing to have never been removed from the piece. Inside each drawer, as well as the tiny door in the kneehole area, silver metal locks are secured and functional. Each lock appears to be original, each uniquely cut on the right hand corner for all small drawers- it would appear the craftsman was presented with the challenge of making the lock of his choice fit the small space in conjunction with the pull hardware, and overcame this but cutting the corners of each lock. Hand made screws are visible throughout the lock hardware. While we cannot say for certain if the key is original, it is of the period, hand made and very similar in metal color to that of the locks. Each drawer is lip-molded and slides flawlessly in and out of the desk. Just below the top drawer is a secret drawer compartment. Appearing to be part of the frame design, but actually pulls outward smoothly as an extra hand dovetailed drawer. This is a unique addition for the craftsman to make, as many of these knee hole desks are without such innovations. The wide top drawer pulls out to reveal a full dust shelf. This five drawer chest features a slightly bowed top. The five straight drawers are a nice size and would offer great storage. The support under the bottom drawer has a pretty cut design. This chest has been recently refinished and is a beautiful golden oak. With no apologies, the top is just beautiful, the hardware has been replaced, but is in keeping with the period. The measurements are 45 inches tall, 33 1/2 inches wide and 18 1/2 inches deep. The weight is about 60 lbs. There is one place where the wood has a crack~this is shown in the pictures. It is free standing but can easily have some clips attached to the back for wall hanging as it is a slim piece so will fit in most places. It measures 25 3/4 total length. 19 1/4 in height. The base depth is 5 3/4 inches and the top deptch is 6 inches including the overhang. The drawers measure 22 3/4 inches in length and 4 5/8 in depth each with 5 seperate compartments. One drawer has four compartments due to a divider missing. This is an old antique trunk/dresser with drawers. Drawers and latches still have nice brass luster. The outer part of case is a little smudged in areas but could be restored very nicely. Antique Five Drawer Bow Front Chest of Drawers
This five drawer bow front chest of drawers measures 47 1/2" high. 33 1/2" wide, and 17" deep. I estimate the date of manufacture somewhere between 1890 and 1910. The pulls and key guards appear to be original but I cannot verify that for certain. The original brass drawer locks are still in place, but unfortunately we have no key. The front legs have an appliqué that is damaged on the right leg, but we have the pieces that fit. You will also notice that someone cared so much for this piece that the veneer on the top of the chest has been repaired. This is a delicate piece of furniture of light construction. The drawers appear to be made of birch and stained and shellacked. Also, there is some minor rippling of the veneer on the top of the chest, but I consider it minor but flaw enough to mention.

Country Charm -- Old Antique Spice Box - Nutty Brown - five drawers
This charming small wood spice box has much to offer the eye. Its small size allows it to be hung in just about any size of space. It is painted an old brown and contains five drawers. The top four drawers have an old incised pattern on the fronts. The bottom drawer runs along the entire bottom and is not incised along the front. From close examination it appears that the entire piece was made out of old used wood. The bottom drawer has a lovely painted design underneath its bottom piece(see photo) Two of the knobs have old primitive replacements. Truly a piece that reflects hand crafted. A 19th century American chest of five drawers. It measures approximately 44.5" tall. 43.75" wide, and 19" deep. We do not know the maker. There is overall normal surface wear commensurate with age and use, including plenty of dings, scratches, and stains as they are found commonly on antique furniture. The surface is refinished but still has a distressed appearance. One drawer is missing its lock. The structural integrity is good and there are no major problems. This chest of drawers is made by Heywood Wakefield and is mid-century modern. The model number is M5d22 and is their encore line. It is in pristine condition and is very sleek is just a well made beautiful piece. The only thing that I see is on one side is a couple of spots that the finish is missing. look at the side picture. The finish otherwise is in great condition. No scratches. It measures 34" wide, 19" deep and 46" high.

Beautiful antique dresser with excellent finish. I have had this dresser about three years. So I do not know the origins of it. It came with a large lot of items that I purchased. The dresser does need some repair in that it wiggles side to side when moved. When it is sitting in place it is not even noticeable, but when it has give in the sideways motion of the furniture. I do not have any idea what would need to be done to correct this flaw. The Dresser top is 36" wide and 20.5" deep. The decorative back on top is another 8" tall. The dresser itself measures 45" high from floor to the top. All the drawers and the cubby are in excellent condition. Including the handles. There are three big drawers, two smaller drawers, plus the cubby. I put rate the dresser as"good" condition because of the rocking side to side. ... moreBut the finish and working condition of the drawers and cubby and excellent. I am not sure of the age. Up For Auction Are These Five Nice Old Fancy Antique Eldredge Treadle Sewing Machine Drawers. Drawers are in very good condition with no breaks or damage. One of the side boards have been replaced. Drawers measure 4 7/8" wide by 3.5" high by 15" long, middle drawer measures 21.5" long by 4" high by 10" deep. All handles are marked Eldredge.
