The VintiqueCo Crew came along and took pity on the poor rejected Suite soul. Which was bursting with stories of the grandeur days gone by! And we knew this one just couldn't go to the burn pile with the others that had fallen apart. This one needed REVIVAL! And Revived we did! With the Creative inspiration of our Lord. This one Sprang to life! All along the way Between the ormolu. The paint colors, the mistakes turned perfection and on an on! So I have to say to the person who said. God, I want something different, ... moreWhere is the one for me? Your order is up! Come and take this hansom set home! This set had some pretty bad cosmetic issues. It was missing moldings. Veneers were missing and lifting, 2 drawers were broken and need of repair, the foot board was once a corbeille but the extra legs had been removed which rendered it useless. So we fixed everything that was lifting, replaced pieces here and there. I made some primitive molds of the moldings and blended them as best as we could. Other flaws we played up as they told a story and enhanced its' vintage charm. With our Love for Steampunk as well as Victorian western styles we came up with this unique look and color palate that is fun and versatile enough to fit with a number of fine decorating styles. The dressers are heavy duty solid and the drawers glide like butter! The Highboy boast wondrous curves. 6 drawers and 2 hat cabinets. The foot board was carefully re~invented in to a stunning hanging wardrobe rack with an antique Italian mirror and vintage worn brass hooks for clothing. Headboard is a full/ Queen. VTG ANTIQUE MID CENTURY BEDROOM SET DRESSERS BEDS NIGHTSTAND HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD
Here we have a very neat Mid Century Modern Bedroom Set that is from the late 1940's according to the original owner. Do not know the maker but looks a lot like Heywood Wakefield and like all items from this period the set is built very well and sturdy. Dressers have a neat raised frame all around the edges(very unique) Set comes with a Long Dresser with mirror(mirror is nice) Tall Dresser, Nightstand and 2 Twin Beds complete with headboard, footboard, side rails and all cross planks that hold mattress and box spring in place. Condition is excellent with no serious problems. Long dresser has a indentation on front right edge that runs into dresser top about 2 to 3 inches, sounds worse than it is. Same dresser has some fading to finish on left side. All drawers on Dressers work well with no sticking and all joints are tight. Back of drawers ... moreare dove tailed while the fronts are slotted type construction. Nice looking set for a guest room or kids room. Measurements are as follows: Tall dresser is 2ft. 10 inches wide. 4ft. tall and 1ft. 9 inches deep. Long dresser is 4ft. 7 inches long, 2ft. 9 inches tall and 1ft. 9 inches deep. Nightstand is 2ft. 3 inches tall, 1ft. 8 inches wide and 1ft. 4 inches deep. Twin beds are: Headboards 3ft. 6 inches long, 2ft. 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep. Footboards are 3ft. 6 inches long, 1ft. 7 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches deep. Very cool all original set with a Danish appeal. Set is for local pick up only. Once paid for we can hold for up to 90 days at no extra charge. Set is well worth a trip.

You are bidding on an antique.Ceramic, SCARCE hairdressers" SCURFGOFUS" a Victorian hair preparation for dandruff etc. This lid was originally produced for Chas. Dibben of Maldon in Essex. ENGLAND. I could not find any references for this lid in the reference books. Although I have seen other examples, and in old sales catalogs, but my guess is that it would date to the late Victorian period. The lid is in good condition and measures 3" in diameter. The design on the lid face features a very intricate pattern with the trade mark even more complex.the diamond shape to the center. Being in the form of a face, with two eyes and what look to be eyes in all four corners of the diamond! I think the company monogram probably doubles up as a nose! All capped off with a Latin worded banner at the bottom! In the bottom corner of the ... morediamond are the letters S X on either side of the"eye" I guess that is code for the county of Essex! Whew!
