Truly a grand statement piece you would be proud to showcase in your home. This fabulous étagère measures 105 1/2 inches( 8' 9 1/2" in total height. Height to the marble at the base is 29 3/4 inches, with a total width of 54 inches and total depth at the base of 19 inches and this étagère weighs approximately 250 lbs total but does dis-assemble into 3 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The original mirror at the center measures 46 3/4 inches in height by 22 1/2 inches wide. This Victorian étagère is in fantastic antique condition. The original mirrors do show some mild spidering silver loss as common with old mirrors. And the original white beveled edge recessed marble top has no chips or cracks but does have some mild discoloration as age appropriate. There is also a small age shrinkage area to the wood by the bottom mirror on the right side see picture of close-up, and a piece of burl veneer missing on the left side towards the back; see close up picture. Neither of these affects the integrity or beauty this elegant piece offers. The locks are intact on the drawer and the cabinet below but the key provided just aids in opening the drawer and the cabinet. This fine desk measures 45 1/2 inches in height to the top of the gallery at the back.Height to the top at the front measures 46 inches, with a total width of 48 inches, total depth of 26 inches and this desk weighs approximately 200 lbs. The pull out writing surface measures 41 inches wide by 21 inches deep and height from the floor to the top of the writing surface measures 30 inches. The knee hole height of the desk portion measures 25 1/4 inches and knee-hole width measures 18 3/4 inches. The cylinder portion of this desk raises and lowers very smoothly and has a large brass lock mechanism on the bottom which is marked: Indianapolis Cab. Co Pat. The lock is intact but we do not have the key. The inner desk portion is beautiful maple with a multitude of various sizes of storage drawers and cubbies.The old green felt on the pull out writing surface appears original and does show some wear and some spots. This washstand has a white and gray marble top and backsplash. The marble is smooth to the touch. There are some discolored spots and some surface scratches. The top front edge of the backsplash has very small“flea bite” size chips. The base has a drawer with dovetail joints over 2 doors for storage. There are splits in the panel inserts of each door. Each ... moredoor has a keyhole however we do not have the key. The trim around the panels on each door is nicely carved. There are small chips in the veneer around the edges of the bottom piece below the doors. This piece is in overall nice condition for a piece of this age. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This washstand is antique and will not be perfect. The cabinet measures 28 1/8 inches tall. 32 1/8 inches side to side and 16 inches front to back. It weighs 41 pounds. The marble measures 5 ¼ inches tall, 33 5/8 inches side to side and 16 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 52 pounds. A monumental and immaculate tall bed in carved and burled walnut from the Aesthetic period of the Victorian era. This bed likely dates to the 1870's. The bed is extremely ornate. Really amazing and a work of art. Measures 83" in length, 61" wide and stands, 87" high. Fits a full size mattress. Condition is excellent, one crack on the back panel below the mattress(does not affect the integrity and you can't see it with a mattress) and the photos speak for themselves. Antique Eastlake Burled Walnut Backboard/Shelf
For bidding is a gorgeous Eastlake-style burled walnut backboard/shelf. It has a beautiful decorative top with scalloped burled walnut and a carved edge with a ball trim.The backboard measures 41 inches wide and 33-1/4 inches tall. It is solid walnut and the top half has a burled walnut inset panel. The shelf is 10-1/2 inches in depth and is supported by carved brackets with a fleur-de-lis cutout. This was probably from an antique dresser or buffet. It makes a gorgeous wall accent over another piece of furniture(or maybe a headboard! The piece is in very good condition with only a couple of minor flaws. There is a very small chip on the underside left-hand corner of the shelf and a 3/8" chip along the bottom. We are able to offer this original 1880's era ~ LARGE 27 INCH MUSIC BOX WITH A FANCY INLAID BURLED WALNUT CASE ~ As you will see we are selling this antique music box for parts or restoration. It has been tucked away in the estate, and has not seen the day of light in a very long time. When you crank the handle it moves the cylinder, so it is certainly not fully functional as it sits. It did sound quite nice though! The cylinder measures 15 1/5 inches long and the comb has 106 teeth. The good news is that out of the 106 teeth only four are broken" which is not bad considering the age" The little tips on the rest of the teeth look pretty decent. Display worthy Oreodont Skull - Mounted on a Burled Walnut Base
Nice smaller Oreodont skull. Presumably from the White River Formation of South Dakota. This 7-inch specimen is mostly original with some filling, a lot of re-assembly, and a coating of archival-grade preservative. Set up as a display on a burled-walnut base, it’s stared(glared? at me from it’s corner of my desk for quite a few years, and might just make a great conversation piece for your desk. Oreodonts date from the Oligocene(34 to 23 million years ago) are extinct Artiodactylids(even-toed mammals) and closely related to camels and pigs. All were herbivorous. Feeding on leaves and twigs. Oreodonts were once very abundant, surviving through the early Miocene, when changing climatic conditions favored the evolution of true grazers like the horse. A bargain priced display specimen.

This is a lovely antique vanity that we brought to the US when we moved here from England. It is an attractive and well-made piece and it's in very good condition. Although there is some wear on the top where the varnish has worn away(see picture) The mirrors on the side are hinged and the woodwork on the frames of the mirrors is in very good condition, with the exception of a junction between 2 pieces on the upper left of the central mirror where there is a slight gap(see picture) The stool is also included, and it was purchased from Bed, Bath and Beyond 2 years ago and is in as-new condition. Woodwork detail around key holes/handles, delicate curved feet, brass hinges, original oil rubbed bronze handles, two doors with magnetic closures(magnet on one door needs minor adjustment to allow door to close snugly) Right side door holds 4 shelves in addition to the bottom.
