Vintage Warmink Wuba Mini Bracket Clock Moon Dial 2 Bell Bim Bam Burled Walnut
This beautiful Bracket Clock was made by Warmink Uhren(Wuba Clocks) of Almalo in the Netherlands(Holland) This small size Bracket Clock has a beautiful burled walnut case that is highlighted with brass trim. Feet, finials and carrying handle. The clock makes an excellent appearance and displays beautifully. The burled wood case retains its nice original finish but, as should be expected on a vintage clock, it has some minor scratches and imperfections that do not detract. The two back finials are old replacements. Note the ornate side sound panels with fretwood detail and original fabric. The nicely detailed silvered dial is beautifully engraved, has raised spandrels and a working moon dial with a calendar feature. The well made Urgos? 8 day time and bim bam strike movement is not signed and only bears the number 526507. Note the polished ... moreback plate, two strike hammers, two large polished brass bells and the guard protecting the balance assembly. This guard is usually missing. The clock is running, keeping time and has a beautiful clear sounding bim bam bell strike. The clock retains its original trademark decal on the inside of the back door. This attractive Bracket Clock is approximately 11 1/4" to the top of the 1 1/4" high handle x 9" wide x 6 3/4" deep. It was probably made in the late 1960s. Recently picked this table up at an auction. The top of the table has that great burled walnut look to it. I am not certain if made of walnut or actually mahogany. So you be the judge of the wood type. The table has a dovetailed drawer on one side and then just a pull knob on the other side to give the table a uniform look. Brass like looking ends on the table legs and then check the wheels that are still on the table legs! The wood finish is in good condition. I see no splits cracks or repairs in the wood to report to you. The table certainly has personality marks from being almost 50 years old. But nothing ... morethat detracts, and in my opinion adds to the look of the piece. The lower spindle piece that goes horizontally to the two pieces coming down from the top of the table is loose on one side and needs some wood glue attention. Amazing color and in fabulous shape. there is one small slit in each of the arms from where the estate had a doily pinned on each arm and it was pulled off when they were moving the sofa out cause it had darkened over the year. The men didn't realized it had a pin in it.can be easily remedied or can add another doily to each arm. I forgot to take pic of the small tufted roll pillow near each arm.they actually come out and can be used in other places on the sofa.they are so tightly in place I didn't realize that you can pull them out for another effect of the sofa. Its a beautiful teallish jadish color. Just needs to be cleaned a bit. All the tacks that are brass and antique are all tight and in place. the wood is spectacular. Antique Empire Dresser with Beveled Swivel Mirror 1860s Burled Walnut Located on Long Island. NY This is a very old. Large antique dresser with a swivel, framed beveled mirror. It has the original finish, which I believe is flame burled walnut, with a beautiful wood grain and patina. The end pieces on the base and the mirror supports are carved. The drawers have dovetail joints. Keyholes and the original glass pulls(keys are not included) I purchased this dresser in Atlanta 25 years ago. I was told it was a Civil War era piece dating to the 1860s. Although I have no way of verifying that. The drawers are very large and roomy. This is typical of pieces made at that time. As clothes were stored flat in drawers. This is a large. Solid piece measuring 54 in wide x 26 in deep x 35 in high. The mirror with frame measures approx. 46 in across x ... more37 in high. Overall. This piece is in good condition, but it is old and does have some imperfections. The top surface is very blotchy from what were probably water stains. In addition, the veneer is split on the top right drawer with some pieces of veneer missing, and there is a blemish on the lower left corner of the mirror(please see photo) I don’t see any other major issues with this piece, but please feel free to ask questions. ACTION: New: Abel hammers, action felts, key bushing felts, key frame felts. No detail left undone. All materials of the finest quality available. The piano is truly like new. The burled walnut inlaid stripe finish of the case was restored to the soft gloss of the original. The bench is original- rare for this age of instrument. The Ampico mechanism is completely rebuilt in its entirety by one of the finest and longest-experiencved automated museum-piece restorers. And so with that. The highest quality materials were used throughout to preserve longevity and integrity. The unit is of the mid 1920's, replacing the original one because of its ... moregreater excellence and value. The square-tail case design encloses the standard round nose plate of the regular 6'4" Knabe grand. This was the character of the Art Design 437B. The serial number is that of the piano's first release by Knabe. Knabe would recall certain pianos of distinction and unique value after being in the field for some years, taking them back for re-design and upgrading, then releasing them as new pianos from the factory again. This is why the 1910 piano became a reproducer several years later. I remanufactured this piano to be my personal pride and joy. As you lower the drop down door at the top the top automatically lifts up. The interior is lighted but due to the age I did not plug it in) and mirrored(mirrors are in good condition) The extended door has a built in wooden rack that holds martini glasses in place as you pour and the top has the original metal reamer and metal cocktail picks with round wooden balls on the end. Here is a fine very late 19th century mostly solid walnut and very tall at 8 and 1/2 feet bookcase. I love the simple architectural features of the carved arches over each glass door which combines the look of solid walnut and It would be fantastic in a library setting or even as a display cabinet as working locksets are being replaced as I write this so both doors will easily lock. It is perfect for the room a the top of a narrow stairwell as it dismantles and sets up very easily. The base with the two drawers is the first level to set up. This base section retains the original porcelain castors. Each of the side panels is screwed to a rear panel. It is easiest to handle these steps like this. Add one side and then the other. This auction is for a very nice Antique English Burled Walnut Sewing Box with multiple Compartments and a Red Satin Lining. Circa 1860's-1870's. The lady I purchased this from said it belonged to her grandmother who emigrated from England to Iowa in 1877. The box measures 12 X 8 1/4 X 4 7/8 inches. The tray has 14 compartments. Three have lids(one is missing it's button) two have folded satin covered inserts. There are two non removable satin covered blocks in the corners for needles. Also. A generous pocket inside the lid with a fastener. Brass furniture. No key. There are two corners with wear/veneer loss. The sewing box is in overall Fine condition. We always combine shipping. Three sectioned glass cabinet above nine drawers. Two pieces. Handcrafted in England 19th Century. Oak sides. Original glass. Hardware not original, legs may not be original. Lighted. Perfect designer piece works in any room. Appraised in 1998 for over 10K. Can be used as a bookcase or china cabinet. BREAKFRONT- STYLE TRADITIONAL- 19th Century Reproduction of an 18th CenturyBreakfront which would be in Mahoghany. It is a great decoratorpiece and very functiional. CANBE USED AS A BOOKCASE WITH 9 DRAWER STORAGE BELOW. IT HAS 2 PARTS. THE BASE HAS 9 DRAWERS- Height is 34-1/2 inches Depth is 17 inches The Top piece has a Height of 51-1/2 inches and a Depth of 10 inches. The entire breakfront has a length of 67 inches- the crown may make it 68 inches. I purchased it at auction in Beverly Hills and was told it was yew wood- and later told it was ... moreburled walnut. It was obvious that the sides were oak. I believe that the legs or feet are not original- but close to what would have existed. Most of these pieces were on houses where often rain created puddles. The hardware was replaced with other period hardware. It has repairs that were made in the 19th century and appropriate to the time. I had a craftsman"putty" the glass in the manner that it was done in the 19th century- I believe the glass to be original- The wood that fit into the shelves is warped. I have all of the glass that was bought to display books or dishes and electrified the upper case.

It is only seen in certain lighting and truely do not think it takes from the beauty of the table top. The chairs probably need to be recushioned as the foam has gotten pretty firm.
