Antique Trunk Hardware Lot of 79 Trunk/ Suitcase Latches.These latches measure roughly 1 1/2" high by 1 1/4" wide. The 32 latches on the bottom row have no spring. The 24 latches on the middle row have springs. The 23 pieces on the top row are the latch tops. I do not know if the tops fit the bottoms as these all came to me like this. Vintage Antique Black Suitcase Blue satin lining leather trim prop display
Antique black suitcase with cowhide trim and navy blue satiny fabric lining with elastic pockets. Great for display or props. Case measures 21" x 13 1/2" x 6 3/4" Exterior of the suitcase is in good functional condition. Black surface appears to be fabric of some sort. And shows wear consistent with age and use. The most notable are stains on the front as noted in the photo. Brass hardware throughout: front latches(one is lazy. And does not pop up when released) All four brass feet are present on the bottom. And back hardware is sturdy, decorative, and works well. Cowhide trim has off white contrast stitching. And is missing in some places(see photos) Handle is a lovely weathered cowhide as well. You are viewing a 1930's Antique. Phonograph Player by Cerilian. It comes in a black suitcase with gold colored embossing on the lid. It measures 16" long, 11" wide and 7 1/2" tall. Inside it has a wood handle hand crank, a lovely scrolled metal needle arm. The record player is done in red velvet and it has a snap off, gold colored record holder. This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and art. It does need mending. It does not play but could be restored. These fine instruments of music are becoming more and more difficult to fined. Small Antique Primitive Suitcase, Old Industrial Steampunk Carrying Case
Up for bids we offer this cute. Little, antique suitcase in very good condition. It has an old, industrial appearance and may have been a carrying case for some sort of equipment or specialized tools. It's quite petite, measuring just 8 1/4" high, 11 1/8" long, and 4 3/4" wide. It's a hard-sided case with its original metal hinges, metal corner guards, and buckle latch. Even the original handle is still intact. This old case also has two sets of metal"feet" so it can be set upright or flat on its bottom. The interior has a small, leather compartment as well as a padded area with straps that may have held something fragile at some point in its history. I do not know if this is a military issue suit case or for civilian use. It is an Old find. It looks it has been repainted in the past in Olive Green. It has metal panels. Up for bid is an Awesome Antique Leather Suitcase.I don't know if this the same name as the maker of the suitcase. But the inside lock hardware has the name MILOCK on it and the date Nov. 16, 1926.They were out of Wisconsin.Comes with the original owners nameplate which is attached by a removeable leather strap.He was from New York State.Attached to this strap is also a little heart shaped lock.Not sure what that is for.The top has the lock to close the suitcase and unbelievably, the original lock is inside of the suitcase!Standing up, the suitcase measures 23 1/4" long across the front.is 8' wide on the sides down by the bottom and stands 14 1/2" tall(not including the handle)Inside has a great plaid design and little snap shut compartments.The 6th photo above showing the suitcase open also shows the top section with turn ... morelock closures closed and the last photo shows that section opened up and laying flat, so different areas and pockets to put things.I can't tell for sure if this is supposed to be black leather or very dark brown, but I'm going with black.You can see the light wear to the leather in some area.Has metal feet and pieces on the bottom to protect it.No bad odors.Interior is in Amazing Condition for it's age.And Rare to have the Original Key to go with it! I really know nothing about this military case other than the fact that I've had it for at least 30 years. The case is made of wood& metal. It measures approx. 18" x 13" x 5" The hinge inside is made of a cloth material. The leather handle is completely intact. Both latches work properly. There is some minor wear& rust from age. I am including with the case a smaller wooden box which may have been used for ammunition. The box is made of wood with a metal hinged lid. Both items are in good to very good condition. Faux Alligator vintage green train case suitcase kitsch 1950s antique luggage
Here's the coolest thing. A green fake alligator embossed old train case from probably a 1950s luggage set. It is made by Superlite. It is stitched. And has brass coated hinges, latches, corner supports, and feet bumps. Inside we go immediately opposite color to bright red and a mirror. There happen to be a couple vinyl belts that were to secure sundry bottles as this was commonly referred to as a train case, but was actually used to take make-up and use as a mini-vanity for a little home away from home. There is some wear from use outside in the way of scuffs, scrapes, and chipped away or cracked leather spots. Also the base of the handle has cracked away leather. Still this displays well with a mostly glossy finish to the glorious green. Inside there is soiling and stains from spills in use. OLD antique Steamer Trunk Wooden Trim luggage suitcase HAMBURG AMERICAN LINES
You are bidding to purchase an amazing primitive antique steamer trunk that is unmarked. But reminds me of the Louis Vuitton ones. And covered with a textured substance that reminds me of leather. But I’m not sure that’s what it is. I appreciate any information you can provide about this well-traveled piece of history. It is wooden and has rounded corners and measures approximately 33 x 21 x 13 inches and has leather strap handles on the ends for easy carrying. One end of the strap is secured to the trunk and the other end will slide back and forth to a metal stop so that the leather handle will lay flat when not in use and pulls out for a comfortable grip when moving it. This case features a rounded wooden trim with metal(possibly brass) guards on the corners. It has 3 metal hinges to hold the lid in place and a metal trim band around the ... morelid and along the front side corners. There are several labels or stickers on this case. Some of them read: On the right end: HAMBURG-AMEWRIKA LINIE D. Antique Pendleton Suitcase
This is a suitcase that was used by my Uncle who went to Oregon to be part of the CCC service during the depression. I'm not sure if the suitcase had the three Pendleton Redeo stickers attached to the suitcase or if it was purchased at the rodeo. Inside the case there was also an album from the rodeo with approximately 50 pictures. This is not included. Your only bidding on the case. My best guess is approximately 1940- 44. He eventually ended up in the Navy during WWll. The case size is approximately 23 inches by 13 inches by 6 inches. The color is brown. The case is made out of metal. Antique Art Deco Train Case Suitcase Vanity Grooming Set Toiletry Dresser Duplex
For your consideration is this exceptional and lovely Art Deco fitted train case that dates to the 1920s. The suitcase is covered in light brown leather and lined with iridescent beige fabric that was made to look like silk or wood grain. It has several compartments. The top one being sort of a portable vanity that makes a table for ease of use. The middle part lifts up to display a mirror. There is an compartment on each side which folds out. The one on the right is lined is meant to house jewelry. The compartment on the left, with the pair of crystal bottles, is meant for perfume and cosmetics. When all this is latched back in place you can open the lower section which is meant for your clothes. The accessories are made of amber colored lucite. Inside there is a tag that reads"Duplex Case, Patented May 20, 1924" The following ... moreis a list of the accessories and their conditions: 1. Oval covered container- Very Fine. There is one spot of discoloration on the lid smaller than the size of a dime. 2. Round covered container- Near Mint. 3. Rectangular covered container#1(toothbrush holder) Near Mint 4. Rectangular covered container#2(toothbrush holder) Missing Lid. 5. Nail file- Handle is Near Mint. The file. Itself, shows signs of use. 6. Button hook- Near Mint 7. Hair brush- Very Fine. Bristles show signs of use. 8. Shoe horn- Near Mint 9. Comb- Broken(see photos) 10. Pair of crystal perfume bottles with glass stoppers and brass lids. Near Mint. Condition of the case: Very Fine! Vintage 1954 Braverman& Berman Suitcase Measures 18" wide. 13" front to back, and 6" thick(closed) Twin latch closures. Key locking holes but I don't have the key for locking it. Good condition. Silk-like red interior, has a peeled Capital Airlines sticker on the exterior. Wood handle, vinyl covering is gone from handle. Dark gray in color.
