Very unique rare piece. This would make a great decorative piece for any nostalgic environment. Believe from 1920s-30's after doing some research. However.Could be older. Very Good condition considering age. Measures 28x19x9" Inside removable Storage compartment measures 18" x 10" x 3.5" The corner pieces appear to be brass and have minimal tarnishing. Has a bit of discoloration on the one panel that you snap close on one side of the interior. In very solid well preserved condition. I believe this trunk to be very early Albert Rosenhain original production. Berlin. Germany early 1900's possibly late 1800's. Some provenance on partial label. Usable condition. Excellent for display/collection. Beautiful. 31" x 19" x 13" some small scuffing, small bend to brass corner(as seen in pic) still very solid durable brass corner. Every aspect of construction on the piece is still in durable well preserved condition, just minor signs of use. some cracking in paper and liner material on inside of trunk, still very durable. Paris company, at the time a competitor of Louis V. Measures about 29 1/2 by 9 by 16 inches. Written on the side" James Brown Wade Park Manor Cleveland Ohio" This was a very upscale residential hotel in the 1920's. Many famous people had stayed there such as Eleanor Roosevelt. Could this have belonged to the famous singer James brown? The case has a lot of wear and some damage. There are scuffs, wear to the leather, the handle has damage and the inside has stains and mold. There is also canvas wear and light canvas tears by the hardware at the bottom. Sold as is for a display- prop or to restore. Would look nice with a new inside lining. Antique Doll Travel Suitcase With Old Hotel Stickers!
This is an antique travel doll suitcase from around 1920? No manufacturers marks on it anywhere. It's 13 3/4 inches tall.7 5/8 inches deep and 7 1/2 inches wide when standing upright. On the inside left side it has 2 cardboard drawers with small brass pulls. Between the drawers is a two piece wooden block with moving wing nut to lock items down. On the right side top is a wire type clothes hanger that pulls straight out to hang small hangers on. The interior paper on the left side has a few stain spots and the right side is intact but has some bubbles and waves in it. All hardware is on the case but the lock does not work and there is no key. The case is wooden construction and covered in decorative paper. This paper is coming loose in spots and is actually chipping off. Now on to some good news and please check out all the photos! This ... moreis a piece that just oozes history and character. Complete with the old travel stickers of the day. The Copley Plaza of Boston was built in 1912 and was the stop for various sitting Presidents such as Clinton.Nixon and FDR. The Savoy Plaza of New York was built in 1907 and over the years was graced by the presence of Cary Grant, Truman Capote, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe and the Beatles. It also has a sticker for"The scenic west" via the Missouri Pacific Railroad. The MoPac was one of the first railroads west of the Mississippi running out of St. Louis in 1851. Incredible and very rare early 1900s hornback crocodile/alligator full size suitcase. It measures: 29.5" L x 9" W x 18" T and is very heavy weighing 22LB! the inside has some stains and the leather straps are quite worn. The outside skin has general age related wear. when closing it fits inside 3 brass clips which can be very tricky to line up as its heavy and stiff but once closed it locks pretty easily. overall its in very good antique condition and presents beautifully. Due to its age. Size and weight, I would say its much more suited for display than use. Truly a remarkable piece!

The only more major problem is that one of the leather straps used to shut and latch the suitcase is ripped in half(see pics) Scuffs. Scratches and wear associated with normal use and age. Description: This is an amazing and beautiful vintage Philip Corbin leather suitcase. The name"Corbin" is on the brass latch along with"Patent Applied For" the latch doesn't really line up correctly and doesn't latch properly. I do not have the key either. The initials"B.B. are on the side of the case in black letters- probably the original owner's. The exterior and handle are covered in a camel colored leather which has a lot of tonal variation ... moredue to wear, weather and distressing. Vintage 1800's Steel Distressed Extruded Travel Trunk Suitcase Antique Decor OLD
Payment by palpal only. An Old Rare"TWO BROTHERS' or Jones Brothers Steel Suitcase/Trunk. This piece was made in England in about 1880 give or take a decade. Antiques just don't get much more rustic than this old trunk. We have had the trunk for more than 15 years& used it to store Xmas decorations. I decided that I was getting too old to tote an 18 1/2 lb storage box. A plastic tub works great. It is about 28 1/2' X 16' X 9 1/2' as stated weights 18 lbs 8 oz. You had better be in good condition to fill this old trunk with clothing. There was a long walk from the coach to the pier. The 6 studs on the top serve 3 or 4 function. Stability. Decoration, to discourage people from setting on the trunk& I saw this in an old ad on the net) to turn the trunk on the top& with a rope on the handle to pull the trunk ... moreon smooth surfaces. And it was extruded in the irregular pattern for strength& eye appeal. But I could not find another case like this one. Note the damage to the corner pointed out in the 3rd picture. This does not not take anything away from the eye appeal of the trunk. The bottom outside has a lot of surface rust& the bottom inside some surface rust. And some rust throughout the piece. But its still good for another 100 years if kept dry. The lock should work with the right key. Or you can put a padlock on it as intended. And as shown it is banged up here& there. But it outta be seeing as it is 130+ years old& was meant to be used. Refer to Images for further details It will be boxed& protected for its next journey. THANK YOU! Exotic Leather Doctor's Bag. The bag is pebbled leather. It is definetly an old vintage bag! I am not sure what animal it came from. The bag is in overall good condition for its age. It measures 18 X 12 X 10. I don't know what kind of leather it is I have not oiled or conditioned it. The handle shows some wear. The latches work. The lock attaches but I do not have the key. There is one small hole in one of the leather creases which can be repaired. On the inside one of the sleeves which holds the pockets is unattached on one side. It is still there. But it'seemed' to go on the doll's head. NOW FOR THE 2nd DOLL. Approx 17" tall. THIS IS A true heartwarming doll and story. can you possible hold more love in your arms from one doll.i think not! this old shoe button rag doll has been loved and cherished more than any other doll i ever collected. the now elderly mother of the original child. Told me how she went to great lengths to make her little child feel normal and this doll feel special. these old plastic glasses(with ear ends purposely removed) are the mother's creative way of allowing her 3 year old to feel happy as the child had eye disease at such a young age and worn thick lense glasses. this doll has mommy sewn on glasses. Stands 3.5cm/1.5ins high and carries the Arms of Bridgewater. It is fully marked to the base and is in very good condition with no cracks. No chips and no restoration. Arms of Gonville and Caius(Keys) College Founded as Gonville Hall by Edmund Gonville in 1348. and re-endowed by John Caius. M.D. in 1557.The personal grant to Dr Caius. dated 1560, states that the book betokens learning, the serpents and stone" wisdom with grace founded and stayed upon vertue's stable stone, and the sengreen and flowers gentil" immortalitie that shall never fade. Antique Vintage Early 1900's Lg Leather Travel Train Bassett Hat Box Suitcase
Antique Vintage Early 1900's Victorian Large Leather Hat Box Suitcase Large old hat box for travel. Big enough to hold those large Victorian/Edwardian hats. Working brass clasps. No key. Though. The leather has a ribbed texture to it. The lining is a blue woven patterned silk or rayon. There is a velvet edge. Ruffled pockets in lid and bottom still have strong elastic. The snaps in the bottom would have held a removable center"hump" that fits into the skull of the hat. But that is missing. 17" diameter x 9" deep Good condition for being 100 years old! The old leather has rotted a bit where the handle attaches. But it does not affect the function or sturdiness.only the aesthetics. The brass clasps and hinged lock have tarnish patina. But function properly. The bottom of the inside lining has some area of fading and ... morelight stains. but all is intact. There is a row of staples that hold the lid lining down right along the edge(see pic) The 2 silk straps are still strong. But both have a bit of fading. Please utilize the blue scroll bar at the right side of the thumbnails to make sure you have seen all the pics I have posted.
