Vintage Craftsman Machinist Tool box Chest Crown Logo 7 Drawers Made In USA
This old Craftsman machinist toolbox is a very well made and sturdy chest. It remains quite solid and has no glaring issues other than typical cosmetic signs of age. There are 7 drawers. Everyone slides all the way in and out with ease, you can see the configuration in the large gallery photos. There is a front cover panel which slides in under the bottom drawer when not in use. When the lid is closed and the panel is in place everything is secured. The lock is present but no key is available. All of the hardware; handle, hinge, clasps, etc. all work perfectly. I just see nothing wrong here. I was told this chest was manufactured by Kennedy but I have no hard information to support this. The drawers were lined with black felt when I got it but it was all pretty much wasted. I removed most of it but some remains. You can take the rest out ... moreif you like. I made the cardboard drawer liners you see in the photos and those will be included. This box is 20" x 14" x 9" and weighs just over 28 pounds. Once it is opened you can see the 6 drawers with pull rings. The top two rings are missing. But it is easy to pull them open without the rings. The top molding also hides a 7th drawer. You will get the machine shown in the photo. Power cord included as well. Looks like it was never used. It has no scratches or marks anywhere. The plastic is still on from the factory. I turned it on to test and it boots up fine. Display works. I tried all the CD drawers and 2 don't open. The light blinks and you can hear them trying to open but nothing happens. Probably they came off the track from handling but I don't know. The other CD drawers open and close perfectly. I scrolled through the menu and the function buttons all work. Heavily Weighted Wood Staunton Chess Set and 19" Board with Drawers, 3-7/8" King
Absolutely gorgeous Staunton wood chess set and inlaid wood board. The pieces come with an extra queen and are heavier than my triple weighted regulation chess pieces. They are flawless. New looking, with thick bright green felt on the bases. The king measures 3-7/8" long. And all of the pieces are slightly larger than the basic regulation sizes, especially the rooks, which was nice to see. The board is extremely well made. With what appears to be mahogany and birch, but I could be wrong. It has a smooth surface. With not a scratch or dent at all. The drawers are flush and contoured with the expert craftsmanship of the board. Which measures 19" x 19" and 3-1/8" high, with a 16" playing surface. Vtg. Machinist Tool Box Chest from REO Motor Co. Dovetailed- 7 Drawers + Top Up for bids is a vintage 20" x 13" x 9" machinist wooden tool box tool box that has dovetail joints at the corners. An underside paper label. On the top drawer on the right hand side of the chest, indicates that the tool chest was once used at the REO Motor Co. of Lansing, MI. Rules for the use of the tools and the tool box are label. The bottoms of the drawers are a stiff cardboard-like material and the drawer guides are metal. The metal pin rods work well to hold the front panel in position when closing the box. The box has several issues most of which I would consider minor. Please read the description of the issues below and view the photographs carefully to determine exactly what you will receive. Issues: 1. A padlock clasp looks to have been ... moreadded to the box and there is no key for the original lock. 2. The handle shows loss of leather and wear. 3. Some metal parts show some surface rusting. 4. The original mirror is present however it is no longer attached inside the brackets on the inside lid of the chest.the 4th bracket is included just not attached.the mirror shows wear(scratches on the backside) so a new mirror might be desirable. 5. The bottom drawer sticks a little when opening and closing it. 6. There is the usual wear to the exterior finish that you'd expect from a vintage/antique tool box. The underside of the box shows most of the finish loss. The green felt lining also shows some wear.this is especially noticeable on the top compartment. Most of the drawers have fairly good felt showing more minor use wear. I believe I have indicated most of the major and minor issues above. This machinist/mechanics box would make a great storage cabinet for antique machinist tools or for use in a garage of a person who has an antique or vintage REO Motor Co. car or truck. XLNT Antique H Gerstner & Sons Oak Machinist Tool Box Chest 7 Drawers
This is a fantastic antique 7 drawer machinist tool box with removable tray and latching lid over the compartment on top. This is an estate find and looks to be in excellent restored condition. It was probably re-finished. But has a beautiful natural look. Finish must have been hand rubbed because there are no brush strokes and it is smooth, even, and very natural. The inside is lined with newer green crushed velvet. All latches are intact with the Gerstner name inscribed, and the latch in the middle is capable of being locked, but I don't have the key for it. All knobs and hardware are original except the screws that attach the handle to the top and the screws on the middle latch(those screws are newer replacements) One of the tiny metal tabs that latches the front panel(tray) closed is missing, but the other is intact and the box closes ... moretightly. The wood is excellent with some tiny minor dings and scratches, and the grain is beautiful. All corners are tight and there is no obvious structural damage. It is sturdy and solid overall, is perfectly useable and displays beautifully. The outer dimensions of the box are 20" L x 9 1/2" W x 12 1/2" H. It will be packed securely and insured during shipping.

This is a CRAFTSMAN Antique– Circa 1910-1920’s– Machinist Tool Box/Chest with Original Key. I have fully restored it to what the pictures show you. The Quarter Sawn Tiger Oak was stained and has a hand rubbed finish. All drawers move easily and were lined with new green felt. All Hardware and Leather handle are original. They have been cleaned and waxed. All Finger Joint corners are tight. The two hinges have free movement and the front lock. Locks when turned with Original Key. Overall. It is functional and will display nicely. If you collect Craftsman don’t let this one get away. You don’t find many of them. Vintage Antique Sewing Machine Drawers Flowers Carved Lot of 7 Ornate
Here are 7 Antique sewing machine Drawers. There are 6 of the side drawers 3 for the left. Three for the right. And there is one middle drawer. The middle drawer has green felt that is worn still hanging on to remnants of thread. It measures approx. 19 3/4 across the front not including the side piece. The side piece seems to be missing on the left side. see pics) The two side wood pieces that slide into the machine cabinet are approx 10 3/4 inches long. The drawer is approx. 2 1/2 inches high. The side drawers measure approx. 14 1/4 inch long. Just over 4 1/2 inches wide and approx. 3 3/4 inches high. each of the drawers have a raised pattern on them that look like Heather and a Genie lamp to me. It appears to be veneer as there is an inner seam on all of the drawers see pics. Each of the drawers has a metal slide bar on them.
