After purchasing the filler for a restoration project, we realized our antique tub will require a deck-mounted faucet. This filler would be very period-appropriate for a Nicole Curtis/Rehab Addict type project. Because it would pair perfectly with a vintage tub. Anyone who appreciates authentic architectural salvage is aware that a new faucet would be very obvious-too brand-spanking new-when installed with a genuine antique tub! Although there are no deep pits or dents in the metal. The original nickel plating has worn in areas. The faucet could be professionally replated in nickel or another finish to compliment your plumbing fixtures. Instructions for safe DIY nickel electroplating can even be found online at"Instructables" But that's one project we have yet to attempt. If the buyer wishes, I will repair the handles with ceramic epoxy in the tight hairlines of both porcelain levers. However, even'as is' they should serve the new owner well.
