The Rogers Columbia silverplate pattern was designed for the Columbian Exposition that was held in Chicago in 1893. This is a highly collectible pattern and was only made for approximately 20 years. It has some wear marks from use and few rust marks on the bottom of the bowl(these can be cleaned off, but I didn't want to remove any of the plating) It has polished up very nice and bright! It measures 6 1/8" 2 Fairy Wands I have a fairy wand rating system that I use to base my pricing and description: 5 Fairy Wands- Pristine with no pitting or plate loss. This is a 1847 Rogers Bros. silver plate ladle in the Columbia pattern. Which was made in 1893. There are initials engraved on the handle, I think they are CYH but can't tell for sure. It's definitely C and H but I'm not sure about the middle letter, I tried to get a clear picture of it. It is in very good condition for it's age, there are some scratches on the ladle and it is tarnished in places. I've tried to be accurate in my description but please feel free to ask questions! 1847 ROGERS BROS. COLUMBIA PATTERN SILVER PLATED SEAFOOD OYSTER FORKS
Fine set of 3 silver plated seafood or oyster forks in the 1847 Rogers Bros. P attern named COLUMBIA which was introduced in 1893. This pattern is composed of elaborate scroll designs and is carried all the way down the handle to just above the tines of the fork. There is a stylized fish like design with scales that starts about one third or the way down the handle from the top. The design on the back is simpler but also composed of scrolled designs and goes about half way down the handle. They are marked on the back with the stamped“1847 Rogers Bros. A1” mark. Vintage Columbia 1847 Rogers& Bros large buffet spoon. Measures 8.75" Spoon is in overall excellent condition and would shine up beautifully. The detail on the spoon is one of a kind. One very very small discoloration on the back of spoon and markings are slightly worn off but readable.
