A Fish Fork in the Berwick aka Diana pattern by(Eagle) Rogers& Bros. Ca: 1904 Monogram: B" Very nice patina with the expected signs of age and use but also some heel marks to the back of the prongs. Berwick aka Diana is a rich pattern and it has been estimated that over 100 different pieces had been made in it. This fork was made for the fish course. The prongs are equally made with a slight wave on the ends. The salad fork is a fancy piece and very different, the pastry fork would have straight prongs with one thicker to cut like a small knife. It measures 9 1/8" long. silver-plated berry spoon. Used to serve strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, is the 1904 Berwick pattern, later known as Diana. It bears the star and eagle mark of American silversmith Wm. Hazen Rogers(1801-1873) which was used after his death by Rogers& Bro. through agreement with his son. This spoon dates back to c1904 which makes it 110 years old. This is in very nice condition for its age and you can see that just by looking at the photo. My mother loved to entertain and always had lovely things to do it with and this was one of them.
