The back is marked 1847 Rogers Bros. A1 plus the Meriden hallmark indicating age. The handle pattern is extremely beautiful and has scrolled embossing on the rear edge of the bowl. It has an age patina that would go well with an older or often used set. There are the use and polishing scratches normal to used older silver. Shipping is free to the 50 United States. The 1847 Rogers Bros. is a series of silverware made from 1893 to 1950. Here are five(5) salad forks in the Rogers Bros. AVON silverplate pattern. The forks were manufactured by International/Rogers Bros. and according to my research were made in 1898. They are 6 1/4" in length. The condition is good. I cleaned them using only the baking soda and aluminum foil method to remove a lot of the darker tarnish. Tarnish still exists. Someone with"silverplate" experience can most likely make them sparkle. Four beautiful antique 1847 Rogers Bros silverplate teaspoons. Pattern is Avon. 1901. Spoons are lovely-heavy. Solid. Each has a monogram down the front of the handle, H J. Each is of varying visibility/distinction though-some have faded/worn down some. Spoons measure 5 7/8 inches in length. The spoons are very shiny and in excellent antique condition. Of course.
