But with a little polishing they now look quite pretty. I still suggest a touch up cleaning before use though as I just gave them a light polishing. There are no monograms or initials on any of these forks. The backside is hallmarked" REED& BARTON" They measure just about 6-1/4" in length. All of them look like they are in great shape. I see no damage. Only your normal amount of wear. All I know about the make and pattern is that they are silverplate and they are in the Tiger Lily pattern, which some refer to as"Festivity" I believe this silverplate pattern was active from 1901 to approximately 1925. I am not absolutely sure as to the specifics. But I have read a few blogs which indicate that Reed& Barton also made this same basic pattern in Sterling. But called it Amaryllis. Just thought I would mention that as I thought it was sort of interesting myself. Not sure what else is important to add. So if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. For your consideration we are offering for auction is this magnificent Reed& Barton 66 piece Tiger Lily aka Festivity. This set. I believe, has been unused- 35 of the pieces are still in their bags with the other pieces displaying a mirror finish, very little scratching if any on most pieces. The pieces have a exceptional mirror-like shine with no monogramming. This pattern comes from the Reed& Barton 1901 Pattern known as Tiger Lily, also known as Festivity, but the set here has been made post war. The set includes the following: 6 Dinner Knives 6 Dinner Forks 6 Salad Forks 10 Teaspoons 6 Bullion Soup Spoons 11 Butter Knives 10 Shrimp Forks 4 Ice Tea Spoons 7 Serving Pieces Comes with silverware chest that is free of charge if you want it.
