Old ca 1906 American Silver Co. Moselle 7in Ornate Gravy Ladle, VG Condition
This item is a 1906. American Silver Co. Moselle' pattern, 7 inch silverplated gravy ladle, with the ladle in very good, but not excellent, used condition. Ladle has some significant surface usage scratches mostly located in the bowl(as we are showing in the attached images) but there are no monograms, and the plating is intact as far as we can tell(no plating wear spots) There are no other serious flaws, outside of the surface usage scratches, but the scratches in the bowl are significant, as often these old gravy ladles are found to have; no dings, no creases, nor are there any other significant flaws. Youth's or Child's knife in the 1906 MOSELLE pattern marked with the globe trademark as shown. Piece measures 7&1/4 inches long. Piece is in very good to excellent condition. Showing some slight wear I will describe. The handle is in excellent condition, showing almost no wear. The high points of the leaves and grapes show some slight wear otherwise the raised pattern is pronounced and vivid. The blade has some wear. Mainly the edge and the high points of the hilt are a little discolored. There are the usual slight scratches from stacking and and storage with other silverware it is otherwise in very good condition. Piece will need to be thoroughly polished when buyer receives it.

The detail of this ornate MOSELLE pattern is simply breath-taking with the lushest of repousse grape bunches. Very detailed grape leaves and trailing vines. It is such a stunning example of the craftsmanship, during the Art Nouveau period, around the turn of the century! Pie or cake server with a silver plated blade in the 1906 MOSELLE pattern marked with the globe trademark on the blade. This is an original American silver company piece with the silverplated blade that rarely survives. Piece measures approx. 10 inches long. Piece is in very good to excellent condition. Showing very little wear. The handle is in excellent condition, showing almost no wear. The raised pattern is pronounced and vivid as though unused. Aside from a few slight scratches handle is excellent. The blade has some wear. A few nicks to the edge and some slight scratches to the flat serving area. This item is a set of 3. 1906, American Silver Co. Moselle' pattern, 7-1/4 inch hollow handled invidual orange knives, with the knives in very good, but not mint, used condition. Two of the knives have had their original silverplated blades replaced with stainless blades, and all show some slight surface usage scratches on the handles. No other significant wear marks, no monograms, no significant plating wear, no other significant flaws of any kind. 1906 Moselle, Solid Shell Berry/Casserole Spoon, Silverplate, American Silver
This large spoon is made by The American Silver Company/International Silver. The spoon measures 9" long with a 3" wide bowl. It has a gorgeous detailed grape pattern and I was able to clean the handle much better than the photo shows. This spoon is used and shows fine surface scratches with a very tiny nick on the edge of the bowl. But overall is in great condition. Here is a very nice antique silverplate gravy or sauce ladle made by International Silver Co. in the MOSELLE pattern. Very fine work.There is NO monogram. This beauty looks to have all silver present and the raised grape pattern is fantastic. Please view the photos. This measures approximately 6.5" long and the bowl is approximately 2" wide. There is minor wear commensurate from the age of this piece which I am guessing is approximately 100 years. A great gift for a wine lover or grower. From a completely non-smoking environment. Wonderful silver plated large serving spoon showing the grape and grape leaf pattern by Moselle. Patented 4/10/06 April 10th. 1906. This spoon is in excellent condition in my opinion. There are some small places where the silver plate has worn off due to use or polishing. The only real problem is it does have initials on the upper part of the front of the handle. Looks like a"W&CD" The spoon measures 9" in length and 3" wide at the widest point. Was used for berries in that time period. In later days would be considered a serving spoon for other than berries.
