It has beautiful Art Deco lines. The tray. Sugar and creamer are in very good condition. There is no plate loss and the look stunning. Minimal wear. And minor scratching, most notably where the tray sits. Still looks great. The teapot looks great. And is functional, but there is some loss on the inside bottom as shown in the photos. Up for auction by Oneida Community are 4 dinner knives in the pattern Bird of Paradise. They are in very good condition with no pitting or plate loss. The blades are stainless and they measure 9 3/4" 4 Fairy Wands. I have a fairy wand rating system that I use to base my pricing and description: 5 Fairy Wands- Pristine with no pitting or plate loss. They are shiny with minimal surface scratches. EXCELLENT 4 Fairy Wands- No Pitting or plate loss. But have surface scratches from regular polishing. VERY GOOD 3 Fairy Wands- May have a couple of pinpoint pits or minor plate loss. May have one or two heavier scratches or a patina from regular polishing. GOOD 2 Fairy Wands- May have heavier scratches and are best for older sets. FAIR 1 Fairy Wand- These are for crafting or replating. Oneida Community Plate Silverplate Bird Of Paradise Set of 3 Iced Tea Spoons
Beautiful set of 3 Oneida Community Plate Iced Tea Spoons. 7.5" long. 1923 Bird of Paradise pattern. They are silverplate and will not hold a magnet. Oneida is still in business today and is known for it's quality of flatware. This is one of it's earliest sets. They are in near mint vintage condition. They do show a very small amount of surface wear but there are no bends or nicks in the pieces. They could use a polish if you so desire but I'll leave that up to you. If you have any questions regarding this set please ask prior to purchase. Here's a nice lot of 6 silverplated iced tea spoons in the very collectable BIRD OF PARADISE pattern. This pattern is by ONEIDA's COMMUNITY PLATE and introduced in 1923. These 7-3/8" long pieces have seen quite a bit of use. But are still in very nice condition and are in need of very little polishing. No monograms and no noted flaws. Overall a very nice group. 1923 Oneida Community Silverplate New French Solid Knives "Bird of Paradise"
Set of eight(8) Oneida Community Plate silverplate knives. Pattern name is Bird of Paradise. This pattern is from 1923. No monogram. Described as"new French solid with bolster. Hollow handle& stainless steel blade. They are approximately 9-5/8" long& have a serrated blade edge. Even though they're old, the blades are extremely sharp. Two(2) have a small spot of what appears to be surface rust& of course, all show age marks. I did not find any pitting, gouges or plate loss. They would benefit from a good polishing. For their age, they are in remarkably good condition. If you need better pictures, please let me know. I have described them as best I can. I also have a sugar spoon& a flat handle master butter knife in the same pattern. IF I can find them I will gladly give these to buyer free of charge.
