Antique Japanese sword KO-TO signed "Soshu Hiromitsu" Wakizashi / Koshirae
This is a Japanese sword in honzukuri mountings. This Gunto is guessed use in Kamikaze corps or the tank corps. The blade is signed"Soshu Jyu Hiromitsu 相州住広光" Shinogi-zukuri shape, early Muromachi period ca. 1339 era made Hiromasa school blade.I am guessed three generation Hiromasa. The blade is in old full polish. Shows tiny scratches on surface. The temper line is Gunome with choji temper pattern and maru temper at the point. The forging grain is tight itame-hada and no forging flaws at all. The scabbard is urushi lacquered wood scabbard. Shows no dent, no crack and in excellent condition. The handle wrap is old wrapping. Tight fit with gold inlay copper fuchi and kashira with matched gold inlay copper bird menukis. The tsuba is signed"Kunihiro 国広” Shikakugata shape iron tsuba. For auction is this 16th century Koto wakizashi in shirasaya. The blade is in mint fresh japanese polish with very sharp edge and crisp lines. Bright surface. There is a few tiny kizu due to age. Nothing bad or serious, in pretty good condition for sure. The hamon is especialy nice on thsi blade. The activities are clearly visible, very nice pattern. The tip is sharp looking and healthy with nice boshi with deep turning back. The tang shows deep patination. No signature, 2 holes. The blade is housed in good double copper habaki and shirasaya. This antique sword came from a garage sale. The sword was made in the 18th or 19th century. The guard where the bird is moves. It's loose and wiggles about half a centimeter. I think glue will do just fine but am not confident to do so myself. Please pay close attention to the pictures provided. I'm selling this sword as-is.

There is a number'1' stamped into the scabbard just below the scabbard throat fitting. Condition: This antique Civil War M1840 Artillery saber is in excellent condition. The nearly 150 yr. old leather grip has areas of flaking from ago. And in some spots only the wood shows-which is great, because this only serves to confirm that this is the original leather grip. Just like on lots of Ames swords, the Ames tang stamp is light. The original leather blade/scabbard pad is present, and is in excellent condition. The blade has no mentionable pitting, and has only the expected carbon finish staining. The blade is perfectly straight with no bends. The scabbard has almost no oxidation present. All scabbard parts are intact, and there is only an occasional minor dent on the lower part of the scabbard. Antique medieval German or Swiss Landsknecht sword
A late medieval German or Swiss Landsknecht sword of massive proportions. Two handed antique Landsknecht sword. Circa 1550. As used by German& Swiss mercenaries in the Middle Ages. Although Excavated in Europe many years ago it is in a very solid& stable condition. Heavy surface pitting throughout. The blade still has a distinctive edge& the steel/iron is in very good solid bright condition& could still easily be used with devastating efficiency. The grips have long rotted away. The upper hand grip would have likely been bound in leather only with the lower grip in leather bound wood. The cross guard is made in two pieces. The 12” wide cross guard is flattened on its ends& has two small langets in the centre which slightly curl over a quillion. The quillion has a twist. Presumably designed to increase the protection area ... morefor the hand. This quillion would have been used to deflect& trap the opponent’s sword. The parrying lug further up the handle would have been designed for a similar purpose. To help deflect the opponent’s blade away from the swordsman’s forward hand. In total the sword is forged from 5 separate parts. The blade which includes the long tang. handle) The parrying lug. The quillion. The cross guard. The pommel. All of these parts are individually forged& neatly pressed in place for a firm fit. That firm fit is still present to this day; nearly 500 years later. The sword is still solid with no looseness or movement. The blade has an impressed mark on one side. Still very distinct. It could be either the armourers mark or an owner’s talisman symbol. The blade is double edged in a flattened diamond& tapering section to a spear point. It has no fullers. The bowl has fans and intersecting lines with a large star in the center, all with deep mitre cuts. The pattern is"Elmore" as listed in the Libbey catalogs. The glass has a beautiful sparkle and shine. Using a standard black light, the bowl glows a pale green in a dark rom. Antique Original Sword Scabbard Ornate Shapes, Art Scenes “In Hoc Signo Vinces"
Here for your consideration is an Old Original Sword Scabbard. The Scabbard is covered with ornate shapes and art scenes. From the top to the bottom it depicts: A Soldier. Probably crusader time, lying next to his shield under the sun. In the sun there is the Christian Cross. Next is a shield that is on top of 2 crossed Halberds and a horizontal sword. Next is a depiction of the Phrase“In Hoc Signo Vinces” in this sign you will conquer/ with a depiction of a sword slanted inside a crown. This I assume is a Crusader emblem. Next. In the middle of the scabbard, there is a ornate depiction of a walking man that has a cross on his shirt, walking with a walking stick and holding a scroll in his left hand. On the bottom of the scabbard there is a fancy depiction of a spear. Wrapped around with a cloth, with two crossed swords in the middle containing ... morean arrow tip. On top of the spear is a shield on top of which is a rooster. The Scabbard ends on the bottom with a very ornate depiction of a Knight’s face with the helmet on. The back of the bottom of the scabbard depicts a simple cross. There is no sword with this. It is an Estate Find. It has two metal rings to attach it to a belt and the third ring to stabilize it I think. Please see Pictures for reference!

Description The M.C. Lilley& co. Columbus made the sword. Name on sword is B. W. Moore(not sure about the first initial) Sword is in good condition but is missing chain on handle and blade has a few wear spots on it. Also has some light pitting on the blade in 3 spots. Just a little play in the blade where it attaches to handle. It’s still tight and holding well but need to mention it. Overall except for chain it’s complete. It’s in as found original condition never cleaned. Measures 38 ½ inches with the scabbard. Sword measures 37 ¼ inches looks like tip has been sharpened a little at on time. Japanese antique sword - KATSUMITSU signed KOTO WAKIZASHI - 600 years old.
DESCRIPTION: Antique Japanese sword WAKIZASHI with Black lacquer saya. The blade is a KOTO period blade. Late possibly late MUROMACHI(around 1555-1600) The saya is black lacquer with kurikata. It is in a good condition. Probably made in late EDO or early Showa period. The tsuka is made with original ray skin with green ito. The fittings. Fuchi. Kashira and menuki are probably 19th century. The nakago has signature MEI: KATSUMITSU. It seems the nakago has been polished. According to sword dictionary. Katsumitsu swordsmiths were in Kaga( Ishikawa prefecture) and Bizen(Okayama prefecture) Katsumitsu of Kaga is for TENSHO(about 475 yrs ago) and lank is $ 45000. Katsumitsu of Bizen is for Eikyo(about 578 yrs ago) and Tenmon(about 475 yrs ago) and lank is $ 78000-$90000. The blade has a typical shinogi-zukuri shape and is in overall very good condition. ... moreNo kizu or cracks, little rust, the blade has been polished in Japan and has hadori polishing and it's partially covering the hamon. The curvature is typical for the BIZEN school style swords. The kissaki is the" chu-kissaki" type. Most typical. The hamon is probably(the CHOJI MIDARE style) But it's hard to take pictures of it. Please, see pictures and judge yourself. The blade is made out of TAMAHAGANE. The metal(iron) that's been used in old Japan to make swords. The habaki is old and made out of silver. The tsuba is newer. Probably early showa(1930's) It would made a nice sword for display in the office or at home or you can add it your sword collection. OLD ANTIQUE MORO BARONG SWORD NO KRISS KERIS KRIS DAGGER
Being offered is a nice old antique Moro barong sword. A good large fighting example. This sword measures 25 3/4" in total length when measured in its scabbard. Beautiful wood handle with large silver ferrule. The silver ferrule has been interspaced with twisted rattan work. The pommel is a nicely grained wood, with excellent patina. The rear beak appears to have been broken at one time but has been repaired very skillfully as you can hardly make out the break line. The front beak is in great condition. Lovely long sharp blade. There is a forging flaw to one side of the blade. The blade is not in polish but a good clean and etch would reveal some lamination along the cutting edge. This one has seen some action. The cutting edge has some nicks and there is some fine pitting along the cutting edge in the middle of the blade. This fine ... morepitting is only present along the cutting edge and not the core body of the blade. The scabbard features a very well carved wood throat. The entire body of the scabbard is wrapped in thin rattan. The toe of the scabbard with triangle decoration. The wood throat has an old repair to one side. That section of the throat broke off at some point in time and a replacement piece has been glued on. All in all, a very fine Moro barong sword. Antique Tibetan Dolpa Sword
I must say. I know very little about this sword. I have had it for 30 years, it was given to me by an uncle who got it whilst in the Navy. I have done no major cleaning to the sword and it has been stored for a year. Maybe year and a half. The guard on the sword is loose, and the handle has some cracks.
