PAT. 2853761, and 10k G.F. with a small symbol behind it. There are some that are very old, at least one pin with a c-clasp. HUGE Antique SILVER Moroccan Berber Ethnic Tribal Fibula Brooches- Unusual Style
Anitque SILVER Moroccan Fibulas This is a wonderful pair of Antique SILVER FIBULAE(actually pen-annular brooches) from the Anti-Atlas region of Southern Morocco. One is about 1/4" shorter than the other. But the longest one measures just under 7 3/4” 19,7 cm) long by just under 3 7/8" 9,85 cm) wide at widest. The fibulae feature a good grade silver(currently unpolished, around 800) knobs, cones, stamped and incised decorations. The wear and patina are superb and they are in good condition commensurate with age and use. There is a crack/ fracture in the silver portion of one of the pins; it can be repaired but does not make the piece too much weaker and once repaired, would hardly show at all. Almost all jewelry pieces are in good condition, no missing stones except a pair of purple pansy earrings have a one center clear rhinestone missing. All working parts except a amethyst brooch is missing a pin but one can be put in easily, no wear or minimal as expected with age, it's not new. There are alot of items here. For sale is a lot of 11 pieces of Antique Victorian Brooches and Pins. The Glass cameo measures 1 3/8" tall. The Egyptian Revival Circle measures 7/8" This one appears to be copper and some of it's enameling has worn off. Two appear to be gold plated and are a little worse for storage- pushed in so that the backs are separating a bit from the front. None of these pins have any markings. TWO ANTIQUE GEORGIAN SEED PEARL BROOCHES Two antique Georgian brooches made from natural seed Pearls sewn onto Mother of Pearl frames. And suitable for restoration, or spares for repairs to other pieces. The largest flower piece is pretty, and has a couple of small pearls missing to one petal, and threads that look a bit messy in places. This brooch has no fastener to the back as it was sewn to a neck ribbon as a pendant in later years. The Pearls are very good, with one large one at the middle. The smaller brooch has nice Pearls in a variety of sizes and has a working fastener to the back but needs replacement pearls in some areas. The largest brooch measures 1 3/4 inches across. There are some very lovely pieces here! Just listing them makes me twitch with delight at how wonderful they are! There are 5 pins. 4 pair earrings(screw backs, clips, pierced) 1 bracelet, 1 necklace/pendant. These pieces are all authentic from the early 1900's-1930's. All but 2 pieces are hallmarked"Italy" or"Made in Italy" 2 pieces have been reworked. The large rectangular earrings used to be clip ons, but have been converted to pierced, hook earrings. The other reworked piece is the necklace which was a micro mosaic pin, missing pin back, so I mounted it to the beautiful brass filigree medallion on brass chain ... moreand created a pendant. The chain and pendant are from the same era. All pieces are in good to very good condition. All pin backs. Earring backs, clasps, etc. on all pieces are in good working order and wearable condition. The metal on back of bracelet and several pins are missing some plating where you can see the brass underneath. Only one pin is missing 2 tiny tiles(medium size oval) but you can hardly notice. Two terrific antique/vintage Italian natural shell cameos; beautifully hand carved to depict classical-type ladies. One in a gilt mount with faux pearl surround and the other in a solid silver mount(stamped) both for wear as pins/brooches or pendants. Dating from around the 1920's and in very good, fully wearable condition with light wear but no loss or damage, they weigh 13.3 grams together and the larger of the two measures 1.4 x 1.1 inches. Here are three beautiful genuine period Victorian gold filled brooches! The brooch on the top left is a molded hollow piece. The shape is like a scroll. It is 1.5 inches wide and 1-1/8th inches tall. It is 1/2 inch deep. No dents and the safety catch works fine. The cameo piece is made of carved shell and gold filled metal. The scene is the"three graces" This piece is a brooch with a working safety catch. But it also has a swivel bail at the top back so that it can also be worn as a pendant. It is marked on the back: 10K GF" and"SPC Co. The cameo has no defects. It is 1.25 inches long and an inch+ wide. The third piece is an engraved bar pin. You are bidding on a very unique Lot Of 5 Vintage Loose Shell Cameos that were taken from 14K fine Jewelry. These are very pretty pieces that could be used to make new brooches. Necklaces, or rings. Great vintage condition, with no cracks and clear carved images that are done in natural shell material. The larger of the cameos is about 1.5 inches tall and a little over an inch wide. Each of the smaller cameos are about 1 inch tall by about 3/4 inch wide.
