These are a set of THREE lions paw feet suitable for a late Georgian clock. Tea caddy, sewing box or similar small furniture. They are quality lost wax cast and patinated brass replicas of a Georgian original. Measuring 1 1/8" across the toes x 1 3/4" long including the fixing plate. Two holes on the fixing plate for screws. The box is raised by 1/2" when these are fitted. Mounting plate is 23mm long and 15mm across. Replacing lost feet adds value to your antique item.

Huge Old Vintage Antique Reenactment Buffalo Butcher Skinning Knife/Sheath Case
Offered here is a huge old Indian trade type skinning knife. The knife is over 15" long with a 9 3/4" blade. The blade is carbon steel with no nicks. Rust or pitting and only some light staining as you would expect. It has been very lightly sharpened and is as full as the day it was new. The blade is not marked. The handle is a very nice hard maple with three big steel pins. The guard is pewter. The knife comes with a hand made heavy dark brown leather sheath held together with 20 heavy brass rivets. The sheath will accept a belt up to 3" wide. This knife is reminiscent of the old buffalo skinners and would make a great Civil War or Indian Wars reenactors knife. The knife and sheath fit like a glove and are really striking together. These big old knives are getting harder and harder to come by and are almost impossible to find ... morein this condition. Don't let this one get away! As always I'm starting off super LOW with no annoying reserve. You must be 21 or of legal age in the state you live in to bid on this knife. Antique Nickel Silver Flatware Art Nouveau Set 19 Serving Fork Tea Spoon Knife
This is a set of 19 pieces in a beautiful Art Nouveau-influenced pattern. The pattern was in very limited distribution for a short period of time. And the pattern was never even named. The set was produced sometime between 1900-1915 or so, but any information on the specific timeframe or producer has been lost to time. Included is the following: eight 5 5/8" teaspoons, five 7" forks, one 5 5/8" sugar spoon, one 8.25" meat serving fork, one 7.5" master butter knife, one 8 7/8" casserole/berry spoon, and two 9 1/8" blunt/solid knives. The pieces have very noticeable, severe wear from handling and use, and would be appropriate for sets still being used. The set is made out of nickel silver, which is not silver at all but is instead a mixture of copper, nickel and zinc. The term"nickel silver" came ... moreabout because of the silvery appearance of nickel silver. Ornamental eating utensils. Especially non-essential pieces, were indicators of status and wealth for middle-class households up until the mid- to late-20th century. An ever-expanding selection of flatware pieces, from tomato servers to asparagus prongs to baby food pushers, demonstrated that the owner had the money to spend on these costly and unnecessary but desirable pieces. Flatware started to become a status symbol when silver-plating techniques were invented in the mid-19th century. Although the middle-class could not afford sterling flatware as could the wealthy, silver-plate was available for them to both emulate their wealthy counterparts and to demonstrate their own wealth. Antique 19th C Surgeon's Knife Foldable Field Tool This is a three-part foldable surgeon's knife. It is 4 3/4" long closed and 7 3/4" long open. There are no maker's marks anywhere. The handle halves can be easily pryed apart slightly at the bottom with the fingers. Allowing the top piece to rotate and slid off its retaining pin at the other end. The blade is then rotated 90 degrees and the handle halves are re-aligned and snapped together. The bottom end of the handles have a bump and groove which serve to keep the handle halves"locked" together. The pieces are nickel-plated steel and show only minor tarnish. the blade does not appear to have been sharpened. The approximately 11-1/2" blade has been sharpened and has patina throughout the steel. The wooden handle is tight mounted to the tang but is bears splits along the pins as seen in the pictures. The handle adorns scratches and is rough on the front end. These were very handy tools back in the day and could cut with a flick of the wrist. A very cool surgeon's knife by inventor Nils Seaholm. I was able to google up a patent document submitted by Nils. This knife is decent condition for it's age. It does look like someone has sharpened the blade. Overall length is about 6" Patent date is 12-4-23. Made in the USA Carefully packaged for safe arrival. A lever locking knife with reversing blade having a handle with a slotted recess therein for removably receiving the blade. The handle having a lever pivoted from it, now the blade having a notch that receives a portion of the lever when the lever is in the closed position to hold the blade either in the extended, usable position, or received within the handle recess. 4 antique 1908 pre WWII German knife bayonets combat knives lot vintage Mauser
This lot includes the 4 vintage bayonets in the photo. They are each 16 inches long overall with thick 11 3/4 inch carbon steel blades. The blades have deep blood groove/ fullers on each side. These have thick curved steel guards and heavy steel pommels. They have wood grips. There is a makers mark on one of the blades. It appears to be Weyersberg Kirschbahm Solingen. The rest of them seem to have unmarked blades. I'm told that these are German made model 1908 Mauser bayonets. But I do not know if that is accurate or not. These bayonets are used and have lots of wear. They are covered in old dried grease or cosmoline. The have rust and pitting. The handles are very worn and some have cracked or chipped/ missing parts. Sold as-is. They still look very neat displayed. Shipping is $11.85

Antique Large Hand Forged Knife VERY OLD Tanner's Kite Shaped Blade Not Sure BIG

I don't know what sort of knife this is but it was suggested to me that this might be a tanner's knife or something that was used for animal skins but I am not sure what sort of knife this is. This knife is just over 14" from the handle to the tip of the blade and the blade itself is about 9.5" measuring from the hilt to tip. The blade is sort of kite shaped and about 1.25" wide at the widest point and tapered at the top and bottom of the blade. The handle is round and made of wood. The metal tang part is visible on all four sides around the handle and it looks like it was hammered down when the knife was made. I believe this ... moreknife is hand forged and very old. I am not an expert but would guess this antique knife probably dates to the middle of the 19th century. Kukri is most likely pre WW1 and of Indian. Origin. A crisp& very well balanced personal carry combat weapon. Blade of handforged laminate steel constuction. Knife is in usable condition. Blade and handle are secure& solid via a traditional tang& bolster assembly. Blade rings like a bell when plucked. Condition is as shown. Spine of blade is of the flatback variety. A feature found on many kukris of indian manufacture. A possible precurser type kukri to the Mk1& Mk2 issue kukris of WW1. The copper. Bronze alloy adornments are typical of Indian symbols relating to the importance of Emporer Askoka in India's lengthy history. The adornments are securely pinned. The etched script could be of much interest to the collecter. I am unsure of script language. Possibly Farsi, Dvenghari, or Islamic. Antique folding knife! Beautiful vintage pocket blade! Made in USA!
Up for auction is this great folding knife Made in the USA. It is dirty and a bit rusty. But I didn't want to clean it as some people would prefer it fresh. There are 4 components as seen above, one of them I could not get out of the casing. On each side there are indents on the knife near the top. I don't know if this was designed or cut into it. Genuine vintage condition. No repairs have been made. Both the wood handle and the blade are arch-shaped. Some rust on the blade. Nice patina on the handle. A lot of signs of ware could be expected considering it's age. Working condition- folds and unfolds easily. The blade fits in place. Sharp enough to do it's daily job at the farm. In my opinion one of the ends of the handle is shaped like animal's head.
