This item shows overall wear including scratches, discoloration, tarnishing, minor nicks found at the top of the blade, the tip of the blade is worn down from sharpening, and the edge is dull. The hallmarks found lead us to believe that this item was made by Gorham sterling; the hallmarks are a right facing lion. An anchor, and a capital Gothic letter, G” This item dates to the late 1800’s and possibly as early as 1853. The blade measures approximately 2.375” long. Original Nepal Gurhka kukri khukuri khukri Nepalese antique knife bayonet
This is an original Nepalese Gurhka kukri. Made famous by the Royal Gurhka Rifles. The is an original item, probably 100 years old or older. Scabbard is in good condition. Decorations were glued in place but have been lost. Some glue remains. Brass trim is loose. The scabbard has pouches for two smaller knives, but the knives are not present. Blade looks to have been sharpened, but is not sharp. The tip is intact. Grip and Pommel have brass decoration. I have not found any markings on the kukri. If you have any questions, ask me. This auction is for a rare antique fishing knife made between 1928 and 1936. Marked on the clip blade tang: COLONIAL- PROVIDENCE, R.I. and marked on the scaler blade: HOOK REMVER- FISH SCALE REMOVER- and something is marked on the handle medallion but I cannot make it out. This classic antique fishing knife has thin reflective strips of foil in the handle, a bottle opener on the scaler blade and is coke bottle shaped. The blades are tight with no wobble and they snap into place and overall this rare knife is in very good condition showing a few tiny spots of pitting and no rust or damages and a very sharp clip blade. This is a nice vintage 1930s to WWII era Japanese all metal pocket knife. It's decorated with gingko biloba leaves on the handle. The overall condition is great. There's mild signs of age but no damage. Blades are ni ce and tight. There is no wobble. T he blade is sharp still. With both blades opened the total length is approx. 6.5 inches. Victorian Antique Middletown Plate Domed Figural Butter Dish & Knife Gold Plate
Up for auction is a Victorian era. Antique, figural gold plated butter dish with knife and star punched insert. The butter dish is stamped on the bottom: Middletown Plate Co. Triple Plate with the number 801. The number 496 is also engraved on the bottom. The legs are figural heads and the handles are lion heads. The domed top has a cow handle along with an engraved vice pattern. The inside of the lid also has the number 496 engraved in it. The star-punched insert has the initials RAP engraved on the bottom side. The twisted butter knife is stamped Wm. A. Rogers SXR Pat. May 14. This knife also has the numbers 496 engraved into it. This butter dish shows wear from use. Including scratches and small areas of missing gold plating. There are tiny holes visible inside the base which occurred during casting. Two of the holes extended to the exterior ... moreas can be seen in photo 9. There are five areas of solder inside the bottom of the base/bowl and five on the exterior, all of which are gold plated. The soldering was completed during production to seal up the holes which penetrated through the metal. Those on the inside are larger in nature; two have been scratched at with a metal object fully exposing the solder and the adjacent base metal. The knife shows production pitting to the base metal under the gold plate, and there is slight wear which has removed a small amount of the gold plate. vintage antique pre WWII German Alex Coppel Solingen bayonet combat knife
This vintage bayonet is marked Alex Coppel Solingen. There is also an O and a B on the spine. A B on the pommel. The bayonet is about 17 inches long overall with a thick carbon steel 11 3/4 inch blade. It has a thick steel guard, wood grips, and a heavy steel pommel. This item is over 100 years old. It is used and has wear. There is a nice patina on the guard, pommel, and blade. The blade has rust on each side and its very tip is dinged. The wood grips have small cracks on one side. The grips are still tight and solid. A very nice antique bayonet. No scabbard. Shipping is $9.65

This is a Unique and Interesting set of 12 German Porcelain Knife Rests surmounted by gilt Lady Bugs and Bees. And a single Bee Knife rests measure 3-1/2" long. There is a W stamp on the base that looks somewhat crossed. Possibly Kampfe& Heubach. Wallendorf, Dresden, Thuringia? From the early 1900's. Please have a look at the backstamp. Description GORGEOUS ANTIQUE LUNCHEON KNIFE AND FORK SET Lovely antique luncheon knife and fork serving set- knife measures 7-1/3" long and fork measures 6-3/4" fork. Up for auction I have an Estate fresh antique lot that includes two items. The first item is a pair of"BONSA" German scissors that I believe would date to the early 1900's. I'm no sure if the handles have ivory or bone attached to them(I believe ivory) These are still sharp and qutite useable and appear to be made of steel. There is some oxidation but they should clean up nicely. These are approx. 4 5/8" x 1 3/4" The other item is an antique toy multi- knife( definately a toy and not useable as a knife) This little guy is marked on the large blade: CZECHO SLOVAKIA. There is a knife blade. Toothpick, file, snuff spoon and shoe hook. I think that the case is marbled celluloid. There is a little scuffing on the large blade otherwise this is in very good condition. 3 Antique Sterling Pieces. Sugar Spoon, Fancy Butter Knife, & a Sauce Ladle LOOK
Offered today are these three beautiful serving pieces. The sugar spoon says"Sterling 10. Pat. Sept. 27, 1887" with a"W" in a circle. The Sauce spoon says"Sterling" with an"M" in between two Doves.The butter knife is the nicest example I have seen and says"Sterling Pat. 78" with a Lion on the heel of the blade. The sugar spoon is about 5 3/4" long, the butter knife is 7 1/2" long and the sauce ladle is 5 3/4" Long and 2 3/8" wide and they all weigh almost 2 ozs Troy. I stand behind everything I sell. This is a 5.75" cucumber server/knife/fork in the 1896 Art Nouveau-influenced pattern Raphael by International. This piece is exceedingly rare and incredibly unique. It has noticeable wear from handling and use. But is in acceptable condition and would make an ideal addition to an elegant mealtime occasion. Ornamental eating utensils. Especially non-essential pieces, were indicators of status and wealth for middle-class households up until the mid- to late-20th century. An ever-expanding selection of flatware pieces, from tomato servers to asparagus prongs to baby food pushers, demonstrated that the owner had the money to spend on these costly and unnecessary but desirable pieces. Flatware started to become a status symbol when silver-plating techniques were invented in the mid-19th century. Here is a butter knife. It is marked NATIONAL SILVER CO on the back of the spoon. I got a whole wooden box of silverware and i am listing different pieces. Some of the other pieces are marked sterling. But i do feel these are old and would,make a great addition to a collection. THey have been used and do need to be cleaned.
