This fabulous and very striking fine pin has a magnificent and huge carnelian stone which radiates stunning ambers. Oranges and reds. It is full of lovely smoky swirls and other inclusions with a lovely carved beveled edge. It is set in a solid 10K rose gold(unmarked but tests to 10K-I guarantee this) setting with a wonderful twisted gold band detail. There is a large loop on the reverse so it can be used as a pendant. This striking pin measures approximately 2.5 inches by 1.75 inches. The pin is in excellent condition. The carnelian has a few very light scratches. The clasp works well. A lovely item. This Bracelet has a lovely engraved Butterfly and Floral Motif against a textured background with a two-dimensional design and a plain border. Parts of the front appear to have some Rose Gold in the design. It measures 6"around on the inside and 7 1/4"on the outside. It has an elegant elongated oval shape. This exquisite hinged bracelet is in excellent condition with no damage however. It is missing the safety chain. The lock is very safe and secure. Hair Woven Watch Chain- A lovely Antique Watch chain mad with intricately woven Human Hair. Hair jewelry was very popular in the Victorian period(mid 1800s) many were articles of mourning. This watch chain has gold-filled ends that are engraved and decorated. This 7 piece lot consists of one SCISSORS PIN with a tiny GARNET or RUBY CABOCHON. The stone is cracked. It measures at approximately 2 1/4" long x 3/4" high. There is one pin that is probably a watch pin. There is a loop on one side. This pin measures at approximately 1 1/4" x 7/8" There is a tiny BABY RING with etched design. Two apparent vintage or possibly antique silver Irish Tara pin brooches with unknown stones. One is marked Sterling Irish ISO( with a set of minute hallmarks that I tried to photo for your inspection. The other does not say sterling and has only an impressed"3" along with another partially rubbed mark in a circle.I did give this one a light rub and it tests positive for sterling silver(or better) Please see photos. This is a collection of antique brooches which are mostly in good vintage condition. The amber? brooch is 4.5cms long. The opaline glass heart brooch is lovely and measures 2cms by 1.8cm. 5 Odd Old Vintage Antique? Pins Brooches Unusual Rhinestones Deco? Victorian?
This odd assortment of pins consists of: The first pin pictured alone is a very'modernist' style& quite appealing as much for its unusual use of materials as its abstract form. It is old. how old is it? We don't know but would suggest it is from mid-20th century. It is made of metal(s) of unknown type(s) simulated pearls in very good condition. The maker is unknown and may be home or custom made by a crafts person/artist. The second pin is in the shape of a buckle. Its'base metal' is just that and its original silver finish has uniformly tarnished- or lost- on its obverse; in a few non-worn places on the reverse the finish is still visible. Based on its C clasp& small. Rounded hinge we'd date this pin to the late 1800's-early 1900's, but this is really just a guesstimate. We think the pin is quite interesting ... morebut we suspect not from a better costume jeweler based on the fact that its hinge shows when it is pinned to fabric. The third pin has been heavily damaged as you can see. But is still quite interesting& perhaps useful to a jewelry repurposer or designer. The pin is missing entirely as is the hinge though the C clasp is still intact& simple. The piece is made of two separate metal component parts; the brass base(originally yellow gold washed) and the silver-tone flower parts which are riveted to the base. We don't know if the red'stones' actually some type of plastic we think) are original; they don't really fit the flowers. There is residue glue(see photo) on the flowers without the stones, so at some point they, too, had something attached to them. This pin looks to be from the early, first-half of the 1900's. The forth pin was made by White Co. and was originally"GF 1/20th 12kt" the makers name is stamped on the pin as well as on the body of the brooch. It has a rather simple hinge and a safety clasp. The rhinestones are prong set; some have gone grey. There is a hook at the bottom of the brooch to hang. a small watch. Perhaps?
