Personally, I would leave them as is, for a natural antique look and they have a ... morenice natural patina. The main body of the finials measure about 7 -1/2 inches tall and 4 - 3/4 inches wide. The wood pegs on the bottom are about 5/8 inches wide, and one is a little longer than the other. They are not perfect but absolutely beautiful and very hard to find a nice matching pair like this. I had bought these from a gentleman who had a lot of wonderful architectural salvage items in his inventory and he told me that one of them had been cracked near the bottom and he said that he had carefully repaired it with JB Weld and reinforced it with several small metal pins and you have to look to find the repair and probably stronger than original.

Very large Eames Era Mid-Century Modern Staved Wood Handled Tray or Dough Board which I believe is Teakwood. I do not know woods well. This was possibly handmade and is not marked anywhere. It is a well made piece with nice Danish look handles and a nice oval shape with a rounded edge. This tray is quite large measuring approx. 26 3/4" X 16 1/2" Would be nice for decoration or use. Has the usual imperfections in the wood and some staining and marks from years of use which add character.

This carpet has not been used. It was purchased during a trip to the Middle East in 1968.It is 100% HAND KNOTTED SILLK. My folks bought it but didn't use it. Except for show and tell. It was left to me, and again I haven't used it. I use my wool oriental carpets, and wool and silk but feel it's almost a sacrilege to walk on a 100% silk hand knotted carpet. This carpet is very tightly knotted and has a pleasing animal/plant motif. This is a set of 4 vintage walnut and brass Chair. Ottoman, or Couch/ Sofa legs or feet. They are 3.5 inches tall and sit on a brass base. While they do not extend for height, there is some play and twist, so you can fine tune the bases if the floor is not level. The screws at the top are attached. These legs will turn any piece of furniture into a masterpiece. They are well worn. As you can see from the photos, but the mid century design can't be beat. Replace any cold metal legs with these, and your chair, couch, or ottoman will take on a new life. The proportion of mid century furniture is all the rage again. Mid Century Lucite Vanity Bench Stool Castors Hollywood Regency 3/4" Lucite
This lot is for a Lucite bench/stool with castors. Perfect for a vanity stool. This stool measures 16 7/8" W x 12" D x 16 3/4" H. The casters were made by a company called Shepherd. The original plastic covering on the chrome plating was still attached. I peeled two off and two are still attached. Which means. The caster are in near perfect condition. They are secure in the stool- none come out when the stool is turn upside down. There are 2 Velcro strips across the top of the stool. I believe that there was a cushion attached via the Velcro. I left the Velcro on for the next owner because a cushion would be perfect for the top of this piece. There are a few condition issues with this piece. There is a small area where there is a chip. Also I point out a surface scratch. Lucite scratches very easily. I would say this piece ... moreis in really nice condition even with the chip. If there is a cushion on top. With brass mounted stencil-decorated bone grip panels and a huge locking Bowie type blade. The almost sword-like Spanish folder is in a superior state of preservation, all features being fully consistent with the given time of crafting. The decorated bone grip panels and brass fittings show charismatic evidence of genuine age, though little in the way of any purposeful use; the blade- which has nice visible forging laminations- is similarly ... moreblessed with a diagnostic aura of time, though probably never served the intended purpose…well, at least not to any great degree. It appears the knife was originally acquired during the period(or well into the long ago) perhaps as a curiosity or Grand tour momento, and simply stored away since. There is a well referenced mark to one side of the blade, NAVAJAS DE TOLEDO" along with some etched designs; the other side also has decorative embellishment and an etched"Viva Espana" see pics) As an aside, a very nice though in my opinion somewhat lesser by way of condition example of this knife with little remaining blade etching sold on Ebay in May for $797. That said, condition here is quite fine indeed. The blade has not been fussed with and has the old edge, never suffering any modern sharpening or any other abuse for that matter. The etched decor is still visible on both sides; blade surfaces have good old toning, with just a few tiny spots of ancient rust to mention for accuracy. The locking mechanism works exactly as it should, being exceedingly tight in operation(thus demonstrating a lack of much use)it takes a good pull on the forged iron ring to release the

Royal Copenhagen Fajance 6 3/4" Dish -- Ivan Weiss -- Mid-Century Modern
Up for you consideration is a Royal Copenhagen(Denmark) Fajance dish or shallow bowl designed by Ivan Weiss. The inside of the dish is white or very light gray with brown and tangerine painted squiggles. On top of that is a three-dimensional mottled gray leaves or pods design. The exterior sides have a dark brown pebbly texture. The dish sits on a circular base that is the background white or light gray color. The dish measures about 6 3/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches and stands about 1 1/2 inches tall. The dish has some heft. Weighing in at about 1 lb. 2 oz. The bottom of the dish has the Royal Copenhagen Denmark mark(crown in center) Three wavy lines, and the word Fajance- all in green print. Below that in green is the mark of Ivan Weiss(a stylized I and W) the artist who designed this dish. To the left in black appear the numbers 963 over 3773, ... moreand to the right appear the initials BA. The dish is in excellent. Like-new condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Original Hardware Danish Modern Mid Century Drawer Pulls 2 3/4 " on center
Very nice Danish/ Mid-century modern drawer pull. The back piece is black painted steel that is 7 1/4" long x 1/2" wide at the ends x 1 1/8" wide in the center. There is some very minor surface rust present. The curved silver pulls are 4 1/2" long x 1/2" wide in the center. The screws are 2 3/4" on center. The drawer this came from was 3/4" thick. The back of the pull is marked Canada CH-1247and there is a number 1 also on the back. The silver handle is non-metallic. They could be zinc or aluminum? The tips of the pull comes off the drawer front 3/8" and the clearance in the center of the pull is 3/4" I have 10 total pulls available and I do combine shipping. All pulls show some normal age appropriate wear. These come off a piece of furniture that was used. One of the black metal backing plates ... morehas a slight bend on one end. I have not re-painted or attempted to modify these pieces in any way. Overall. This is a terrific example of sleek and stylish modern design. 19th CENTURY 'ROYAL VIENNA', 9 3/4" HAND-PAINTED PLATE - 'CUPID & EUPHROSYNE'
This amazing. Hand-painted, Royal Vienna' plate is titled, CUPID AND EUPHROSYNE' On the reverse is the trademark'Beehive' And is under the glaze. Written by hand, below the beehive, is the title, Cupid and Euphrosyne' The painting is absolutely beautiful, as you can see by the photographs. The colors are vivid, with blues and bright reds. The gold throughout the rim is bold and bright. The three blue/green(aqua) rosettes make the plate a real show piece. The lavender outer rim is as fresh as though it were painted yesterday. There is one very minor flaw- it is viewable in the photographs. There are two little leaves on the left of the plate(9 o'clock) which have the gold missing(not a scratch. Just a tiny bit of missing paint) I only mention this for accuracy. I have had this plate for fifty years(I bought it in an ... moreauction in Palm Beach. Florida) and have looked for anything similar in my travels and on the internet. The only one which was even close to its quality, had a minor chip on the edge. This plate has no cracks. No rubbing, no blisters, no repairs- and all paint is vibrant in color. This auction is starting for a fair price. If it doesn't sell at this price. I might lower it a bit- don't miss it, though. I try. Very hard, to take as many photographs as I can to show the buyer quality, and also, defects, if they exist. This vintage plate speaks for itself. I try. ANTIQUE CHINESE CLOISONNE 3 INCH PLATE SAUCER 19/20TH CENTURY 4
This cloisonné plate came from a very good estate sale in Jacksonville. FL last weekend. There were about a hundred pieces of cloisonne; the owners were ex-military and had traveled the world since WWII. This plate is very old and shows its age. The enamel work is yellow with green leaves, a red flower and blue fruit. It is not signed. 3 inches diameter; weight is less than1 pound. There is enamel loss on the back, please see the photo. I am not an Asian antique expert; I appreciate the beauty. I welcome comments/questions.

This is a glass plate in the Fostoria Century pattern. It is 6 3/4 inches in diameter with a 2 3/4 inch central depression. This is probably an under plate for a mayonnaise or serving dish. It is in good condition with no chips. Cracks or flea bites. The glass is clear with no obvious scratches. Shipping is based on the distance to be sent.
