Up for sale is a set of Antique Porcelain Faucet Cross Handles Hot/ Cold/ Waste. They are in great condition. The porcelian is in great condition. Only a few small hairline cracks on the back next to the nickel plated brass mount, the nickel plating is in great condition also. The Lettering on the handles is excellant. The handles are 3 1/4" across and stand 2" tall. The inside of the mounts are 3/8" square with a tapered hole for a set screw in the shaft. I also have another set of Hot/cold only matching knobs in another auction. Thank you for looking. This is a vintage faucet made of nickel plated brass. The handles are intact. Nothing is cracked or broken. The same goes for the porcelain hot& cold inlays. Engraved on the stem of each hand valve is the name GOPHER. It is estimated to be assembled in the 1940's. There is a 3/4" NPT connection on both hot& cold sides. I have not dismantled the assembly in any way therefore I do not know if the seals work or not. There is also two donut shaped pieces that I think are for the back of the handles but I am not sure(one has a tiny chip along edge that you would not see when assembled. Authenic antique Brass and Porcelain/Ceramic HOT/COLD faucet handles with their original brass screws. The are in good condition for their age with surface cracks and surface checkering. This set of two plumbing handles is authentic vintage. These handles do have some age cracks and age checkering but are strong and solid and it shouldn't affect their function- They actually add a bit of past years charm. VINTAGE FAUCETS Acquired at an estate sale are these antique plumbing fixtures. I am not a plumber so I will do my best to describe the items offered in this auction. I believe the base metal is brass or bronze with a chrome finish. There appears to be some paint splatter or other dirt on each piece so a good cleaning will be needed. I did a basic wipe down with a damp cloth to get the dust off and show the potential of these great pieces. Each one measures 5 ½ inches tall; 4 ¼ inches from the tip of the faucet to the back of the stem; 2 ¾ inches across the handles; water opening of the faucet measures ½ inch by ¼ inch; threaded pipe is ¾ inch and the base that would sit on the sink is 2 inches across.
