Cracks or rust anywhere and had its orignal drain and back stopper but no faucets. Standard made this sink in 1923, the pictures in blue show the maker and year it was made. Pror to 1924 Standard did not put an overflow in this production. This piece is from a farmhouse in NW Indiana built around 1885; might possibly have been an upgrade when indoor plumbing was installed. Soap dish measures approximately 4.5"L x 3.75"W; overall. Combination piece measures 5.125" tall. The only place where the cast iron is visible is on the back, left side at the screw holes which would be facing the wall. There are some chips to the porcelain which look worse in the photos due to the magnification than they do in reality. This is an old porcelain shower head that I found at a estate sale a few years ago.I assume that it is old as it has quite a bit of weight to it and it just looks like something that was made quite awhile ago.The head is porcelain and the rest of it appears to be brass that has been plated.Very nice piece if you are looking to match your faucets and or porcelain tub.The only writing is on the side of the neck and it says; Anoconda' and then it says Natl Brass Works Inc. Antique porcelain bathroom faucet. I'm not positive what era this is from. I think the 1940's. The faucet is not in perfect shape but overall good shape for its age. The issues I see are the scuff mark on the fauces part itself. I did try some to clean this and got a lot of it off. I dont think it will come 100% clean or off, it appears to have sunk into the actual porcelain. The other issue is the screw for the cold side had rusted and broken when I tried to remove it, I was able to back the screw out but I believe the brass part will need to be tapped. I believe they are quarter turn handles. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain just the scuff. No maker on it anywhere I could find. Please view pictures closely. VINTAGE FAUCETS Acquired at an estate sale is this antique plumbing fixture. I am not a plumber so I will do my best to describe the items offered in this auction. I believe the base metal is brass or bronze with a chrome finish. Across the top of the faucet nozzle is"STERLING" Sterling is the manufacturer. Not the material. There appears to be some dirt and plumbers putty on each piece so a good cleaning will be needed. I did a basic wipe down with a damp cloth to get the dust off and show the potential of these great pieces. The base measures 4 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the threaded pipe to the top of the handle; 5 1/2 inches long; threaded pipe is 1 inch; space between threaded pipes is 2 1/4 inches; threaded pipe is about 1 1/2 inches tall; faucet is 3 1/2 inches from the tip of the faucet to the back of the base; opening ... morefor faucet is 1/2 inch across and the handles are 3 1/2 inches long. The San Carlos Hotel was built at the Turn of the Century and was very popular with many celebrities and dignitaries during WWII. The San Carlos has since been torn down. Each sink had a single leg. But if one needed they could incorporate these as a pair to a larger sink. These pedestals are solid porcelain(not porcelain glazed on metal) They are each 22 7/8" long x 3 11/16" at the top x 1 5/8" at the foot and weigh 7 lbs. each. They are in fantastic shape with no chips. Cracks or even crazing of any kind. The porcelain surface is bright and shiny. One pedestal does have two small silver paint spots near the top. The knobs have the nuts and c clips to hold them to the stem and escutcheons have everything expect escutcheon nipple witch you can buy a universal one anywhere. It measures about 6.5" long and the base is 3.5" long from side to side. The condition is good. There are no chips or cracks. It could use some cleaning. On the bottom there is some chalking. This is one awesome. Very old, cast iron porcelain sink. It sits on two large, also porcelain, cast iron brackets and displays wonderfully. The sink is 26" wide and 19" deep, but the brackets make it stick out from the wall another inch. The sink is in wonderful condition with just some minor scuffing, and one of the brackets has some minor chips as shown in the last 2 photos. You will not find another like this. 70 pounds via UPS.
