ANOTHER GREAT NEW OLD STOCK ANTIQUE BRASS PLUMBING FIXTURE FOR YOUR BIDDING PLEASURE! Up for bid we have a new old stock hose bib from United Valve Corp. of Cleveland Ohio. This faucet sat in the original box from the manufacturer on the shelves of a local plumbing company which closed the doors over 75 years ago. The faucet is marked United with no other stamps or markings anywhere. It is 1/2 inch threaded and made entirely of brass. The box is not included in the sale and you are bidding on one faucet. As you can see it is in beautiful condition for it's age as it was protected in the box for all those years. The finish is bright and beautiful with only a few hazy spots on it which are hard to see in the pictures. Whether you are planning on installing it in a retro restoration or simply adding it to your collection on the shelves you ... morewill not be disappointed with this one. Remember though that if you are planning on using it you may need to check if new seals are needed since a faucet of this age may have dry rotted seals inside if there are any. Really neat big old valve! I believe the main middle section is brass. Measures 4-1/2" high and 6" long with the pieces on both ends. The handle is 2-5/8" across. Still turns freely! The inside of the pipe measures a little over 3/4" on one end and 1/4" on the other. Comes complete with all the nicks. Scratches and crud you see in the pictures. It has a textured flow knob and remnants of green paint on the cast iron 2 1/4" handle. Weight is 14.6 oz. Next- silver plated brass fixture& handle is 4" in total length with the letter"H" in a diamond. Weight is 10.2 oz. Last is a 3 1/4" fixture with a 1 3/4" black painted(chippy paint) cast iron handle. Printed with the letter"H" in a circle, opposite side shows FIG 704. Weight is 6.2 oz. I have an old antique cast brass water faucet spigot for your consideration. Heavy cast brass manufacture. This is in nice condition and should clean up nicely. There are some dings and scuffs consistent with its age. Great utility faucet that will bring a lot of character to your home with your watering needs. Looks like a standard 1/2 inch pipe thread. Upon inspection the packing and seats were in poor condition and will need replacing. I left some of the fragments for you to see what will be needed. The valve stem screws in smoothly. Nice early handle design. Questions encouraged and welcome other wise what you see is what you get. Thanks for looking. Flat ship is 5.35 to the lower 48 United States.

Brass Gas or Water Valve or Spigot with a Good Luck Swastika - Old Plumbing
Old brass gas or water valve. This is not my area of expertise- so please ask questions if I leave off anything you need to know. Measures approximately 4 inches X 2 5/8 inches. Key turns fine. The top part has some rust on a little nail like piece inside that is NOT made of brass- see photo. So. There could be more rust somewhere I can't see inside. I don't know if it has other non brass areas. It has 4 old good luck type swastikas. One on each side of the key and one on each side of the top part. I guess they were wishing good luck on the repair. Lots of photos posted- please look at them. I cannot ship this internationally. It has been hanging on a nail, outside for years, and has nice brass patina, but I need to move soon, so am cleaning house. It has a square hole for attachment to the faucet, but no set screw hole, just loose fit, I guess. There is a blob of excess brass see on both front and back from original casting, and is permanent, not just a chip of junk. I have other old hardware listed, check them out. I have a nice vintage faucet and a hard to find inline spigot valve faucet for your consideration. These come to you in nice reusable condition. The internal valve seats look good and the packing looks good as well although I have not tried with water pressure. The seat rings might need to be replaced. Both have a nice hose thread on them. The valve with in line shutoff gives you good flexibility for your garden or home watering needs. Nice heavy solid cast brass manufacture. The faucet is marked Oberndorf and has a nice thread trim plate which is adjustable 1/2 inch. These appear to have a standard 1/2 inch pipe thread.
