From the top of handles of bottom of attachment it also measures 6 inches. It has a beautiful classic style from the early 1900s. The spigot was made by Standard and has the name on the middle section. It appears to be in good condition. It is missing the white porcelain top on one of handles and has some minor marks and scratches. We did not attempt to clean or polish. Beautiful Antique/Vintage bathroom faucet. Solid brass construction. Even the valves are brass. This faucet will last forever. Not like the cheap fixtures they make today. The underside has an S stamped in it. My research leads me to think it is a Sherle Wagner. She is a well know designer from NY. She is still in business and you can hew her website. I am not an expert so please don't take my word for it. The faucet is very heavy. Is in great shape. Has a few scratches but they are small and I couldn't get a picture of them. There is a perfect amount of patina on it. The rubber seals inside are in great shape. Handles still function very well. This is a very nice faucet. It will be the centerpiece of any bathroom. Antique porcelain bathroom faucet. I'm not positive what era this is from. I think the 1940's. The faucet is not in perfect shape but overall good shape for its age. The issues I see are the scuff mark on the fauces part itself. I did try some to clean this and got a lot of it off. I dont think it will come 100% clean or off, it appears to have sunk into the actual porcelain. The other issue is the screw for the cold side had rusted and broken when I tried to remove it, I was able to back the screw out but I believe the brass part will need to be tapped. I believe they are quarter turn handles. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain just the scuff. No maker on it anywhere I could find. Please view pictures closely. Totally awesome Hollywood Glam/Regency antique console bathroom sink legs and apron front piece.They are a polished cast brass and come with the screws for mounting it to the under side of the console. The legs measure 33" tall and weig h about 13#s apiece. These have some scuffing and will need to be polished out. The apron is in great c ondition. It isn't as scuffed as the legs. This part weighs nearly 6#s. See all pictures for condition detail. The front apron measure 25 7/8" long x 3 3/4" high. this also has the 4 mounting screws. Antique Porcelain Bathroom Plumbing Fixtures+Brass Hardware,prob.1900's
I purchased these old and antique porcelain Bathroom Plumbing fixtures. With a lot of brass hardware for them at an auction, and I know nothing about these things. All of the porcelain thingies, except for one piece is in excellent condition. The one piece has what looks like a surface crack, which however doesn't go through to the other side. One piece has"Standard" on it, and there are 2 buttons with"H" and"C" which are brass-enclosed. I have no idea to what kind of sink or bathtub/shower these go to. My guess, for what it's worth, is that these pieces are probably from the 1900's or so. Winning bidder pays shipping. And I'll ship this as cheaply as possible. The bottom dish does drain out the back with the brass bracket designed with an oval shaped hole to allow the water to pass through. Very neat and rare piece. This is a cool little all in one soap. Cup, and toothbrush holder. It is solid brass and looks to be complete. Soap dish has its try or strainer, the cup holder will hold cup with a bottom no larger than 2 1/2" The tooth brush holder will work with the flat handled tooth brushes or the thinner handled modern tooth brushes as shown in the pictures. Has a great verdigris and old brass patina. The bottom tooth brush holder tray is loose and it moves around but it dose not affect its function. The arm of the tooth brush holder has a steel nut on it were it threads into the post of the stand.
