Architectural salvage from an old home in Brenham. Texas. Either from"W. N. Froy& Sons Limited" Founded in 1850, or"N. Froy& Sons Limited" founded in 1978(I'm not sure which) The latter has a website. The cord leading to the shower head is plastic or rubber(not brass) These are sturdy fixtures. And weigh about 15 pounds in total. The large fixture measures approximately 8" from outer porcelain edge to outer porcelain edge; the exposed portion of the small fixtures(that is, not counting the pipe) is approximately 5" from top to bottom. Some of the brass is scratched and nicked. With green corrosion. I was told that they are over 75 years old. I don't know enough about these faucets to verify that they are in fact over 75 years old, but they look very old. One handle is marked"COLD" and the other is marked"HOT" The porcelain is not cracked or chipped. These faucets would make a great addition to your plumbing restoration project. Antique porcelain bathroom faucet. I'm not positive what era this is from. I think the 1940's. The faucet is not in perfect shape but overall good shape for its age. The issues I see are the scuff mark on the fauces part itself. I did try some to clean this and got a lot of it off. I dont think it will come 100% clean or off, it appears to have sunk into the actual porcelain. The other issue is the screw for the cold side had rusted and broken when I tried to remove it, I was able to back the screw out but I believe the brass part will need to be tapped. I believe they are quarter turn handles. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain just the scuff. No maker on it anywhere I could find. Please view pictures closely. I believe the base metal is brass or bronze with a chrome finish. Across the top of the faucet nozzle is"STERLING" Sterling is the manufacturer. Not the material. There appears to be some dirt and plumbers putty on each piece so a good cleaning will be needed. I did a basic wipe down with a damp cloth to get the dust off and show the potential of these great pieces. The base measures 4 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the threaded pipe to the top of the handle; 5 1/2 inches long; threaded pipe is 1 inch; space between threaded pipes is 2 1/4 inches; threaded pipe is about 1 1/2 inches tall; faucet is 3 1/2 inches from the tip of the faucet to the back of the base; opening ... morefor faucet is 1/2 inch across and the handles are 3 1/2 inches long. The porcelain knobs on the hook have some age spots and specks in the antique white porcelain. The hook is in"as found" condition. It has some tarnished brown color on the hook. I left the paint remnants on the base of the hook because it helps show the age. This is a vintage nickel plated over brass faucet which would fit an old fashioned claw foot tub or cast iron sink. It has the porcelain Hot& Cold buttons on the faucet handle tops and it comes with the turn bolts to tighten it up to the tub. It would extend about 2 ¼” from the tub or sink wall and is about 5 ⅛” tall overall. The threaded 1” pipes in the back of it will fit holes 3 ⅜” o/c. Aside from the usual scratches obtained over the years from wrenches tightening the handles and small light spots of corrosion to the nickel plating appropriate to its age and use.it is in very good condition. I purchased these old and antique porcelain Bathroom Plumbing fixtures. With a lot of brass hardware for them at an auction, and I know nothing about these things. All of the porcelain thingies, except for one piece is in excellent condition. The one piece has what looks like a surface crack, which however doesn't go through to the other side. One piece has"Standard" on it, and there are 2 buttons with"H" and"C" which are brass-enclosed. I have no idea to what kind of sink or bathtub/shower these go to. My guess, for what it's worth, is that these pieces are probably from the 1900's or so. Winning bidder pays shipping. And I'll ship this as cheaply as possible. Antique Brass Faucet Assembly With Porcelain Handles. Here's an oldie but goodie! Made from solid brass this faucet assembly features 2 porcelain handles. One for hot and the other for cold. The spigot moves from side to side. This is the type of faucet that normally was used above a sink. Overall physical condition is really good- this is a relatively simple device. I noticed the washers on the inside handles were replaced. Perhaps with a little cleaning and minor adjustments it will be good to go! It can be cleaned. Shined and polished or leave it as is if you prefer the look of old patina. Also, on the back of the cold faucet at the very top where it connects to the metal there is a tiny chip. Just noting this, for it doesn't look as if it affects the stability of the handle or its operation. As for measurements. Its 3 inch on ... morecenter.
