Vintage Roof Drain Cover - Ornate Cast Iron #1 14" x 5" Wade
This cover weighs more than sixteen pounds and measures 14“ wide by 5“ tall. This is one of several roof drain covers that I have to offer. The drain covers are used. Some still showing remnants of roofing asphalt around the base. For most of them, paint is a thing of the past, replaced by rust and weathering from sitting outside, exposed to the elements for years. I find no breaks or cracks in the metal. They all have staining or rust marks. The one with the bold H has some chipping. Examine photos carefully. The round handles range in size from 2" to 3" They have rust and missing paint. Nice old cast iron sink with a very cool and unique shape. This sink is cast iron with white porcelain over. The porcelain has pock marks. Scratches, Light staining, chips and stress lines around the overflow and left side faucet mounting hole. Has its original drain plug mounting anchor. It is marked Standard and also D& M Works. Great old soap dispenser. Chrome over brass. Chrome is in good condition, it is a bit dirty and could use a polish. Top button cap unscrews for filling. The the cap is split in one spot see pictures. The fluted glass ball is in great shape has no cracks, chips, or breaks. Dose have some paint splatter. You can see the swirls in the glass as well as the air bubbles from when it was made. It works with liquid soap but dose have a steady drip. Dispenses soap when knob is pulled out. This knob may have been spring loaded at one time but it only works manually now. This cabinet has a very cool knob with a center button for the catch, The catch is worn down some the door will open without pushing the button, But it dose not pop open on its own. The door works as it should. Has some built in shelves and some built in shelf brackets for removable shelves(not included) The paint is chipping in several spots and there is some surface rust. Very nice vintage chrome soap dispenser. We are not 100% sure but we do believe the base metal under the chrome is brass. The chrome has some light scratches. And some very very light pitting only a few hard to notice pin sized spots. The frosted glass reservoir is in very nice undamaged condition. The unit comes apart in three pieces for easy cleaning and refilling. The dispenser dose function as it should but it dose have a slow drip about 1 drip per minute( may need a new seal) Overall it is in very good condition. Antique Nickel Brass Figure 8 Double Cup Tumbler Old Soap Dish Vintage 2990-14
This is a very cool nickel brass double cup holder and soap dish. The nickel plating has seen better days. 35-40% of the nickel is worn off. The rest of the nickel has fairly heavy oxidization. The only mak foun in under the soap dish is says pated applied for 1902. This would make a great shower caddy as well it would accept a round shampoo bottle with a 2 5/8"diameter or less. Nice nickel over solid brass. The back mounting plate is showing some oxidization. Also has some paint splatter on it. Has beautiful turning with nice finials.
