Only a few small hairline cracks on the back next to the nickel plated brass mount, the nickel plating is in great condition also. The Lettering on the handles is excellant. The handles are 3 1/4" across and stand 2" tall. The inside of the mounts are 3/8" square with a tapered hole for a set screw in the shaft. Architectural salvage from an old home in Brenham. Texas. Either from"W. N. Froy& Sons Limited" Founded in 1850, or"N. Froy& Sons Limited" founded in 1978(I'm not sure which) The latter has a website. The cord leading to the shower head is plastic or rubber(not brass) These are sturdy fixtures. And weigh about 15 pounds in total. The large fixture measures approximately 8" from outer porcelain edge to outer porcelain edge; the exposed portion of the small fixtures(that is, not counting the pipe) is approximately 5" from top to bottom. Some of the brass is scratched and nicked. With green corrosion. Vintage Clawfoot Faucet: GOPHER-porcelain hot & cold valves
Thank you for looking. This is a vintage faucet made of nickel plated brass. The handles are intact. Nothing is cracked or broken. The same goes for the porcelain hot& cold inlays. Engraved on the stem of each hand valve is the name GOPHER. It is estimated to be assembled in the 1940's. There is a 3/4" NPT connection on both hot& cold sides. I have not dismantled the assembly in any way therefore I do not know if the seals work or not. Vintage Solid Brass Faucets With Porcelain Handles/ Set Of Two. These are two heavy duty. Farm fresh, brass water faucets that were removed from an old hotel. I was told that they are over 75 years old. I don't know enough about these faucets to verify that they are in fact over 75 years old, but they look very old. One handle is marked"COLD" and the other is marked"HOT" The porcelain is not cracked or chipped. These faucets would make a great addition to your plumbing restoration project. I believe the base metal is brass or bronze with a chrome finish. Across the top of the faucet nozzle is"STERLING" Sterling is the manufacturer. Not the material. There appears to be some dirt and plumbers putty on each piece so a good cleaning will be needed. I did a basic wipe down with a damp cloth to get the dust off and show the potential of these great pieces. Antique TUB FAUCET ~ Nickel Plated Over Brass with Hot & Cold Porcelain Insets
This is a vintage nickel plated over brass faucet which would fit an old fashioned claw foot tub or cast iron sink. It has the porcelain Hot& Cold buttons on the faucet handle tops and it comes with the turn bolts to tighten it up to the tub. It would extend about 2 ¼” from the tub or sink wall and is about 5 ⅛” tall overall. The threaded 1” pipes in the back of it will fit holes 3 ⅜” o/c. Aside from the usual scratches obtained over the years from wrenches tightening the handles and small light spots of corrosion to the nickel plating appropriate to its age and use.it is in very good condition. Vintage Porcelain Faucet Set -- Hot, Cold, Waste with Escutcheons & Hardware
You are Bidding on a Vintage Porcelain Faucet Set for a Shower or Bathroom Sink. My guess is it's from the 1920's or 1930's.more than likely from a hotel. The classic Cross handles are 3" tip-to-tip. The metal hardware is(permanently) attached and measures 3/4" long with a 3/8" opening. The hardware is threaded. The Escutcheons are 3.25" diameter at their bases. Each has a 3/4" opening at the top. 2 out of the 3 escutcheons are marked with the"Standard" logo of the time. No chips. I'll have a total of 7 listings from this lot. Antique Porcelain Fixtures Hot Cold Waste Handles + Estucheons + Copper Pipes
This piece was salvaged from a farm house in Bagdad. Florida. Note the large chip in the"waste" estucheon. Discoloration on"cold" handle appears to be paint splatter, which in my experience is easily removed. Pipes have patina and appear to be copper. Functionality of the plumbing is unknown, but there are no obvious holes or major visible damage to my untrained eye.
