It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. The sofa is all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 68 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 48 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 28 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, 23 inches high to the arms and 16 inches high to the seat. Original and features solid flame mahogany outer construction which boasts an original finish with a rich lustrous natural patina. The Victorian design incorporates 4 turned legs(one immovable. This one features an oversized bolstered roll arm that is capped on the front with rich beveled circular mahogany designs. Luxurious rare antique sofa
This antique sofa is very comfortable in addition to its uniqueness and beauty. I bought it few months ago from original owner. He said it was his grandmother's and he was in his 50-ies so assume this sofa must be from 1900-1950-ies or even older. The fabric does show wear. So it can be reupholstered or at least cushions. I tried to repaint the back of one of the cushions with fabric paint. As you can see on the picture, but it didn't look good. For Sale is a possibly 1850's sofa(an Antique dealer mentioned the possible year after investigating its past) I had it professionally reupolstered in a beautiful neutral fabric with a scroll design. The many carvings and details in the wood make it unique. I don't know much about this sofa except that my mother gave it to me and she had it all my life. There is a sticker on the bottom that is somewhat visible that read T.S.M.CO. 20th Century Idea Trenton. H. It can comfortably seat two people, maybe three if you squeeze. The fabric is a golden/ yellowish corduroy fabric with lining. There are some minor stains on it. The frame is made from wood with designs on the top corners and two front legs to look like paws. If you are serious about this item. Let me know and we can work out a price as it was too late to change the listing. I bought this set in an antique shop around 15 years ago. I was told it was at an Antique Shop before that. That closed down so the owner commissioned it to be sold at the one I bought it from. There are no tags but I tried to show how it is constructed underneath. Pretty nice size springs& big straw straps but I don't really know. The frame is wood under the material. And knowing very little about material. I think it is either velvet or velveteen? Not sure but must be pretty tough, maybe upholstery material? And here are the approximate ... moredimensions: Sofa is 22" wide from outer edge of arms. Very back to front is about 9" deep. Height is about 9 1/2" Chair is about 10 1/2" wide from outer edge of arms. Back to front is 9" deep. Height is about9 1/2" The Doilies came with the set so off they go. I see no rips or tears. Just the little bit of missing velvet that I have included a photo of. The photos make the material look like it has variations of color, but that's just the velvet under the lights. The feet show wear. I guess from moving around while on display but still, very sturdy. The round feet are nailed to the frame. Please note that I am not an expert at all on furniture. Antiques or materials. But the history is information I had gotten from whom I purchased this from. I can answer questions though and also send more pics if needed. My husband looked at it and said it was done by someone who knew how to build. Done very well, maybe professional. He said its"the real thing" Also note that colors may differ once downloaded. Antique Victorian Settee and 4 chair Rosewood Parlor Set
Item up for bid is an antique Victorian Rosewood Parlor Set. It includes the settee and four chairs. One with arms. There are two larger chairs and two smaller chairs. I do not know much about this set as it was inherited. I am unsure of its age. The frames of the settee and chairs all have patterns with grapes as can be seen in the pictures above. It is slightly different on the chairs than on the settee. Obviously the upholstery is of different colors, but could be reupholstered to match. The condition of the set is good. But it is in need of some repair. The back comes off of the largest chair. I included a picture, so you can see the pegs that hold it together. It looks as though there may have been some repairs to the settee and you can see scuff marks on it in the picture. Some of the seams in the wood of the settee are off a bit too, I included a picture of that. A matching bolster cushion is included(this is not attached to the couch) Structurally, this piece is in excellent condition. Antique Barouqe Style Parlor Set with Couch and two chairs
This is what looks to be an original but its hard for me to date. It has a deep red velvet brochade uhpholstery that is in fair condition some fading and wear. One seat springs in chair and one side of couch are busted. Back fabric is particularly faded and worn, and is torn on one chair but the bones and guts are in great shape. Original upholstery tacks, wood carved and heavy sturdy frame, with gilded gold finish. Unusual Maritime symbol of"mermaid" playin a flute. This came from an Estate Sale in Savannah Georgia. I really wanted to have it restored, but just will probably never get around too it. Make an offer, I might even consider trades.

Fiddle Head arms, and a decorative skirt edging around entire couch with Floral& leaf patterns on front and sides! I don't know brand or age. It has original Ivory covering and is 80" long x 31" deep x 36" high. Wood has lovely aged patina with no broken parts, although there are some nicks and chips I’ve attempted to show in pictures. Further detail: The arms end in a fiddle head with a leaf detail on the arm fronts. There are 8 lion footed legs with a flower carved above each front leg. There are additional flowers included above the carved decorative front wood border making a total of seven floral designs carved on front. The decorative border and upholstery is continued around entire couch so this couch does not have ... moreto be placed against a wall. The damask upholstery fabric has a floral and leaf design that covers entire back and arms. This couch has a solid stable frame structure. The fabric is original and has some staining. Antique sofa (secret compartment)
This is definitely a one of a kind sofa. You would never know by looking at it that it has a secret hidden compartment built into it. The compartment is made from cedar. This is a very old sofa and it is really heavy. It has awesome claw feet and ornate carvings in the wood. It's covered in a bizarre lime green material with a great funky look to it. There are no rips or tears in it but it is a little dingy looking in spots that may clean up nicely. Overall. A few very small spots of cane that has broke. Would be absolutely stunning if repaired or would even be great looking piece if the caning was just removed. Fabulous turquoise aqua colored velvet fabric. Sofas fabric is striped. No rip or tears. Rare and Unique Antique 2-Piece Lounger/Chaise Lounge Gold/Neutral Upholstery
This is a very unique and apparently rare little chaise. It really has a lot of appeal. Lending a certain grace and sophistication to the space which it occupies. Specific age, maker and origin have not been conclusively determined. The upholstery is a beautiful light gold and looks as though it may be original, although the dust covers appear to have been replaced or at the very least, repaired. The chair weighs only approximately 30lbs and the stool approximately 10lbs. It sits quite low to the ground and with the pieces placed touching end-to-end, it would accommodate the full height of an individual relatively short in stature only, although it does not in any way appear to been made for a child. The specific condition of each piece has been outlined above and shown in the photographs. Due to the fact that collectors vary in their decisions ... morerelative to whether to alter the condition of a piece and have varying preferences as to repairs and restorations, the chair is being sold as is. The fracture/break in the chair is shown in the last two pictures above(11 and 12) The break is clean but goes through the entire piece. In other words, if it were not secured to the frame, it would be completely broken off from the remainder of the leg. However, it would be very easy to repair and would be difficult to detect- it was only upon close inspection that the damage was noted. The pieces are made of hardwood, possibly walnut. The wood was stained at some point. It is stuffed in part with dried vegetation- probably straw or hay and the form is really well preserved. It is a great chaise- beautiful, versatile and a bit of a mystery at this point. Moderate research has failed to uncover clear identification or a similar two- piece chaise with the same characteristics.
